ワトフォード18歳ブラジル人FW、15歳彼女との親密交際に法律の壁?
今冬の移籍市場でフルミネンセからワトフォードに加入した18歳のブラジル人FWジョアン・ペドロがピッチ外の問題で話題となっている。イギリス『Caught offside』が伝えている。 フルミネンセの下部組織時代から国内外で注目を集める存在だった逸材アタッカーのジョアン・ペドロは2018年10月にワトフォードへの加入が内定。そして、今冬の移籍市場で正式に同クラブの一員となると、先月4日に行われたFAカップのトランメア戦で早速デビューを果たしていた。 今後ピッチ内での活躍で大きな注目を集めるであろう逸材アタッカーだが、その前にピッチ外での問題で注目を集めることになった。 ジョアン・ペドロはブラジル時代にブラジルの若手女優のメル・マイア(15)と交際をスタート。ワトフォード移籍後は遠距離恋愛となっていたが、先日にメル・マイアは恋人に会うためにイングランド入り。 ジョアン・ペドロは恋人との再会を喜び、自身のインスタグラムにメル・マイアとのキス写真を投稿していた。だが、この投稿が物議を醸す事態を招くことになった。 ブラジルでは性的同意年齢(性行為の同意能力があるとみなされる年齢の下限)が14歳となっており、仮にジョアン・ペドロとメル・マイアの間に同意があれば、性行為を行っても児童性愛など淫行の罪に問われることはない。 しかし、イギリスでは性的同意年齢が16歳となっており、現在15歳のメル・マイアの同意に関わらず、仮にジョアン・ペドロが性行為に及んだ場合、淫行の罪に問われる可能性がある。 そして、前述のキス写真など親密な関係が想起されるジョアン・ペドロとメル・マイアのカップルに、法律違反の可能性があるのではないかとの指摘がなされることになった。 これを受けて、所属元のワトフォードのスポークスマンは以下のような公式声明を発表している。 「ジョアンと彼のガールフレンドの双方がイギリスとブラジルの法律、文化の違いをしっかりと認識している。彼女はすでにブラジルに帰国しており、今後16歳の誕生日を迎えるまでイギリスに渡航するつもりはない」 なお、メル・マイアの16歳の誕生日は今年の5月3日となっており、あと3カ月ほど経てば、法律の問題に煩わされることなく親密交際が可能となる。 ちなみに日本の性的同意年齢はブラジルよりも若い13歳となっている。 2020.02.03 14:30 Mon

久保建英が“親友”コロンビア人FWの誕生日を祝福!「おめでとう兄弟」
