▽ナポリのマウリツィオ・サッリ監督が、7日に行われたチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)決勝トーナメント1回戦2ndレグのレアル・マドリー戦を振り返った。『フットボール・イタリア』が伝えている。

▽敵地での1stレグを1-3で落としていたナポリは、ホームでの2ndレグで最低でも2-0の勝利が必要だった。そんな中、前半から主導権を握ると24分にはメルテンスのゴールで幸先よく先制する。しかしその後は追加点が奪えずにいると、52分、57分と立て続けに失点。後半アディショナルタイムにもゴールを許し、1-3で敗戦した。この結果、2戦合計で2-6となり、ナポリのCL敗退が決定している。

▽試合を振り返ったサッリ監督は、後半の途中まではナポリがペースを握っていたと強調。敗れはしたものの、自分たちの戦い方に改めて自信を持つことができたと口にした。

「非常に楽しい55分間だったと思う。そのテンポを維持するために、熱意が必要だった。ただ、立て続けの2失点で、我々の熱意は失われてしまった。あの失点で、実質、突破は不可能となってしまった。選手たちは目的を失い、道に迷ってしまった」

「ただ、55分間は世界最高のチームを相手にこちらが支配していたように思う。マドリーと比べても、それほど違いがないということが証明できた。我々は若いチームであり、これからさらに成長できるならば、このレベルでも十分に戦えると思っている」

ペッレグリーニはローマ退団へ? ラニエリ監督「オファーがあれば、我々はそれを評価するつもり」
