▽マンチェスター・ユナイテッドに所属するベルギー代表MFアドナン・ヤヌザイに対し、同代表として参戦していたブラジル・ワールドカップから帰国後に脅迫状が届いていたようだ。イギリス『デイリー・メール』が報じている。

▽『デイリー・メール』は8日、セルビアとコソボのメディアの報道を引用し、ベルギー代表を選択したそのヤヌザイに対して、怒りを覚えたコソボ人やアルバニア人から殺害予告を示唆する脅迫状が送りつけられていたと主張。コソボから送られた脅迫状には、『コソボに1歩も足を踏み入れるな』との文面が送りつけられていたと伝えている。

▽ベルギーのブリュッセルでコソボ系アルバニア人の両親の間に生まれたヤヌザイ。同選手には、ベルギー代表に加え、セルビア代表、アルバニア代表、コソボ代表、イングランド代表のいずれかでプレーする資格を有していた。

▽昨シーズンにユナイテッドのトップチームでプロキャリアをスタートさせたヤヌザイは、当時18歳ながらもリーグ戦27試合で4ゴールを記録した。シーズンの終了後には、ワールドカップに臨むベルギー代表でのプレーを選択し、グループステージ最終節の韓国代表戦に先発出場。同試合に出場したヤヌザイは、代表初キャップを飾っていた。
