スイス代表は1日、ブラジル・ワールドカップ決勝トーナメント1回戦でアルゼンチン代表と対戦し、敗退が決まった。DFステファン・リヒトシュタイナーは、わずかな差を嘆いている。
スイスは押し込まれる時間が長かったものの、0ー0で90分を終えた。しかし、PK戦を目前にした延長後半に失点している。
リヒトシュタイナーはFWリオネル・メッシをうまく抑えられたと考えており、アルゼンチンを相手に良い戦いができたことに胸を張った。

インテルのスイス代表GKヤン・ゾマーが負傷した。
ゾマーは23日に行われた国際親善試合のデンマーク代表戦に先発。24分にCKの守りの際でクリアにかかったところ、相手選手と接触して右足首を痛めていた。

超豪華! W杯でも共演したブラジルのレジェンド4人がスタンドに勢揃い、その後ろの人物にも注目集まる

「クソッタレ!」ストイコビッチ監督が興奮し問題発言、スイスとセルビアに起きた4年前の遺恨が再燃か「とても悪い振る舞い」
