スポルティング加入のコバチェビッチ

スポルティングCPは5日、ラクフ・チェンストホヴァからボスニア・ヘルツェゴビナ代表GKヴラダン・コバチェビッチ(26)を完全移籍で獲得したことを発表した。契約期間は2029年6月30日までの5年となり、契約解除条項は6000万ユーロ(約101億8000万円)に設定されている。

ポーランドの強豪からステップアップを遂げた26歳GKは新天地での意気込みを語った。「ポルトガル最大のクラブのひとつに加入できてとても嬉しく、誇りに思い、光栄に感じているよ。新しい同僚、テクニカルチーム、クラブで働くスタッフ全員に会うのが待ち切れないよ」

母国のFKサラエヴォから2021年夏にチェンストホヴァへ加入したコバチェビッチ。以降は公式戦113試合に出場し、52試合でクリーンシートを記録。ポーランドリーグ屈指の守護神との評価を確立した。

また、今シーズンのヨーロッパリーグのグループステージではスポルティングとの2試合にも出場し、安定したパフォーマンスを披露。その活躍が評価される形で今回の移籍が実現した。

なお、スポルティングではスペイン人GKアントニオ・アダンが今季限りで退団することになり、コバチェビッチはウルグアイ代表GKフランコ・イスラエルらと守護神の座を争うことになる。
