元日本女子代表(なでしこジャパン)FW岩渕真奈(30)が現役引退を表明した。岩渕は14歳の2007年に日テレ・東京ヴェルディベレーザに二種登録され、翌年に正式昇格。2012年のホッフェンハイム移籍から、バイエルンでのプレーも経験し、リーグ2連覇に貢献した。
2017年にINAC神戸レオネッサで日本復帰を果たすが、2020年のアストン・ビラWFC入りで再び欧州へ。その後、アーセナル・ウィメンFC、トッテナム・ホットスパーFCウィメンでプレーした。
だが、今年6月にアーセナルとの契約が満了に。2010年にデビューの代表キャリアにおいても初優勝の2011年大会から3大会連続でW杯に出場中だったが、先のオーストラリア&ニュージーランド共催大会では落選していた。
選手として分岐点を迎え、動向が注目される岩渕だが、1日に自身のSNSに「いつも応援してくれている皆様へ」との書き始めから、「プロサッカー選手を引退する事に決めました」と引退を報告。感謝の言葉も続けた。

バイエルンがなでしこジャパンの18歳MF谷川萌々子とプロ契約! まずはスウェーデンのローゼンゴードへレンタル移籍「すぐに決断しました」

なでしこジャパン勢ら4名も追加!EAが『FIFA23』内NWSL選手のレーティングを公開、日本女子トップは?
