かつては85億円を設定された元スポルティングの田中順也、ポルトガル移籍が増える現状を語る「何人かの背中を押した」
かつてスポルティング・リスボンでもプレーしたことのあるFC岐阜の元日本代表FW田中順也が、日本人選手のポルトガル移籍が増えていることに言及した。ポルトガル『レコルド』が伝えている。 田中は順天堂大学から2010年2月に柏レイソルへと入団。強烈な左足のキックを武器に活躍。日本代表としても4試合に出場するなど、その実力を示していた。 その田中は2014年7月にスポルティングへと完全移籍。当時ヨーロッパでは全くの無名でもあった田中だが、スポルティングが違約金に6000万ユーロ(約85億円)という破格の金額を設定。このことがヨーロッパでも大きな話題を呼び、「タナカとは何者だ」と話題となった。 田中はスポルティングで公式戦35試合に出場し7ゴール6アシストを記録。加入1年目こそリーグ戦17試合で5ゴール2アシストを記録するも、シーズン終了後に監督が交代。すると構想外となり、2年目は公式戦7試合の出場に終わっていた。 その後は、日本へと復帰。柏の他、ヴィッセル神戸でもプレー。現在は岐阜に所属している。 ポルトガルリーグは日本人選手がほとんどプレーしていなかった中、現在は日本代表MF守田英正やFW田川亨介(共にサンタ・クララ)、MF中島翔哉、GK中村航輔、FW川﨑修平(いずれもポルティモネンセ)、MF藤本寛也(ジル・ヴィセンテ)、FW食野亮太郎(エストリル)、GK小久保玲央ブライアン(ベンフィカ)が所属。新シーズンからはDF小川諒也(ヴィトーリア・ギマランイス)の参戦が決まっている。 守田もスポルティングへのステップアップが確実視されるほか、日本人選手の獲得の噂が他にもあるポルトガル。田中はこの現状についてコメントした。 「ポルトガルにはクオリティの高い日本人選手がたくさんいる。すでにプレーできている選手もいる。他の選手がすぐに向かうことも願っている」 「僕は一部の選手の背中を押したと感じている。ポルトガルでは幸せだったし、それのおかげで他の選手がポルトガルのリーグをポジティブに捉えることができたと思う」 ポルトガルへの道を切り拓いたと言っても良い田中。日本人選手がポルトガルで順応できる理由についても語った。 「ポルトガルはクオリティとスピードでプレーするレベルの高いリーグだ。日本には、そう言った特徴を備え、考えてプレーするのが速い選手がたくさんいる」 「他の日本人選手にもぜひポルトガルに行ってもらい、良さを知ってもらいたい」 日本人選手に向いているリーグだと語る田中。最後には、かつての仲間やファンたちへのメッセージを残した。 「この場を借りて、スポルティングに関わる仲間たちにメッセージを残したいと思う。僕はクラブを永遠に愛している。とても嬉しかったし、ぜひ頑張ってもらいたい。チャンピオンになることを願っている」 日本人選手の多くはドイツやベルギーでプレーしているが、ポルトガルも人数は増えてきている状況。良い結果を残す選手が増えることを望むばかりだ。 2022.06.17 12:55 Fri

邦本が加入後初ゴール! 守田途中出場のスポルティングは昇格組に屈辱敗戦…【プリメイラ・リーガ日本人選手】

中島翔哉の退団で思うこと/六川亨の日本サッカー見聞録
7月6日、残念なニュースが飛び込んできた。トルコのアンタルヤスポルに所属するMF中島翔哉が契約を解除されたと報じられた。中島は22年9月にポルトガルのポルティモネンセからアンタルヤスポルへ移籍。しかしハムストリングの負傷により2ヶ月間ほど離脱した影響もあり、16試合(スタメンは7試合)に出場したもののノーゴール・ノーアシストと結果を残すことはできなかった。 香川真司の後継者として、日本代表の「背番号10」を受け継ぐのは中島だと思ったことがあった。2016年1月にカタールで開催されたAFC U-23アジア選手権、リオ五輪のアジア最終予選を兼ねた大会で中島はこれ以上ない輝きを放った。得意とする左サイドでのプレーから、カットインでの右足ミドルシュートは破壊力抜群だった。 準々決勝のイラン戦(3-0)では、0-0の延長から2ゴールを奪って勝利に貢献。決勝の韓国戦では0-2のビハインドから、FW浅野拓磨の2ゴールとMF矢島慎也のゴールで3-2の大逆転劇を演じたが、浅野の決勝点をアシストしたのが中島だった。中島は大会MVPを獲得し、U-23日本はU-23アジア選手権で初優勝を果たした。 16年春先にはFC東京の練習後の自主トレ中に、自らのシュートのリバウンドをボレーで打ったところ“足を持って行かれ”膝のじん帯を負傷。しかし懸命のリハビリのおかげでリオ五輪には間に合った。リオ五輪(といっても赤道近くのマナウスと北部のサルバドールでの試合だった)ではグループリーグで敗退したが、コロンビア戦で中島が小気味よいステップからマーカーをかわすと、ブラジル人ファンは大喜びしたものだ。やはりドリブラーが好きなのだろう。 2018年にはヴァイッド・ハリルホジッチ監督に招集されて代表デビューを果たしたものの、監督交代などもありロシアW杯のメンバーに入ることはできなかった。19年1月に森保ジャパンに招集され、カタールでのアジアカップに臨んだが、大会前の練習中の負傷により離脱を余儀なくされる(代わりに招集されたのが乾貴士だった)。この頃から、中島のサッカー人生には暗雲が漂い始めた。 2017年8月23日、自身の誕生日に婚約と海外移籍をFC東京の練習グラウンドで発表。ポルティモネンセは、ステップアップのためには“手頃”なクラブと思ったものだ。2シーズン目の途中となる19年2月、カタールのアル・ドゥハイルへ43億7500万円という日本人最高額のトレードマネーで移籍を果たす。 プロである以上、トレードマネーや年俸は評価のバロメーターになるし、お金を稼ぐことは当然だ。しかし、かつては自身も「ビッグマウス」を公言していたが、メディアのバッシングにより「沈黙」を貫くようになった中島は、もともとかなりシャイな性格だ。子供の頃は公園でボールと戯れ、FC東京でもU-23日本代表でもチーム練習が終了後は、リフティングに始まりドリブルやシュート練習など必ず居残りで1人黙々と汗を流していた。 そんな中島を「1人上手」と思ったものだ。ある時、彼に仲の良い選手を聞いたところ、植田直通の名をあげた。植田はU-23日本代表で、チーム練習が終了後は必ずと言っていいほどコーチ陣とマンツーマンでロングキックの居残り練習をさせられていた。練習後は中島と2人で室内ジムに直行して趣味の筋トレに汗を流した。それから一風呂浴びているうちに仲良くなったのだろう。 いくら夫婦同伴とはいえ、日本やポルトガルとカタールでは環境があまりにも違いすぎる。何カ国か渡り歩いて生活した経験があるならまだしも、お世辞にも社交的とはとうてい言えず、内向的な性格の彼にカタールでの生活は厳しかったのでないか。 実際、5ヶ月後に中島はポルトへ完全移籍する。ところが年明けの20年はコロナの流行などもありサッカーに専念できる環境ではなくなった。21年は、カタールよりはまだ都会のUAEのアル・アインへ移籍するも、2月の練習中に脛骨骨折とじん帯断裂の大けがを負う。同年8月にポルティモネンセへ復帰し、22年はアンタルヤスポルへ移籍したものの、選手としてこれといった実績を残せずトルコを去ることになった。 人生に「if」はないが、19年にポルティモネンセから5大リーグの中位クラブ、プレッシャーの厳しい都会のビッグクラブではなく、田舎のクラブへステップアップしていたら、中島のサッカー人生はまた違ったものになっていたのではないだろうか。 いくらトレードマネーが高額だとしても、アル・ドゥハイルへの移籍は失敗だったし、中島にとって未知の国であるトルコのアンタルヤスポルへの移籍も失敗だった。最終的には彼自身が決断したとしても、代理人は中島の性格や順応性などを正確に把握した上で移籍先を決めたのかどうか、いまでも疑問に思っている。 ただ、これで彼のサッカー人生が終わったわけではない。28歳という年齢は、ケガさえなければ脂の乗る時期だし、日本代表でもMF遠藤航や浅野らリオ五輪時代の仲間がプレーしている。ここは一度Jリーグに復帰して、左サイドのスペシャリストとして稀代のドリブラーの捲土重来を期待したい。三笘薫と交代で中島が出てきたら、相手はきっと嫌がるはずだからだ。 2023.07.07 20:25 Fri
