女子のマンチェスター・ダービーで危険なタックルが発生していた。事件が起きたのは9日に行われたFA女子スーパーリーグ(FAWSL)のマンチェスター・ユナイテッドvsマンチェスター・シティの一戦。シティのイングランド代表FWジョージア・スタンウェイが危険なタックルを見舞ってしまった。
試合の35分、ユナイテッドのリア・ガルトンがボールをトラップしたところ、完全に間に合わない謎のタイミングでスタンウェイが突っ込んできた。
浮き球となったボールをガルトンがコントロール。すると、そのボールを蹴り上げようと飛び込んできたスタンウェイは空振りすると、そのままガルトンの左太ももにスパイク裏が完璧に入ってしまう痛々しいプレーとなった。
誰も文句の言えないこのプレーには、当然レッドカードが提示。スタンウェイも異議を唱える余地もなく、素直にピッチを後にしていった。なお、試合は2-2の引き分けに終わった。

アグエロがシティの歴史に名を刻んだ瞬間、プレミア初優勝を決めた93:20の熱狂
