元日本代表のMF福西崇史氏がSNSを更新。元日本代表DF宮本恒靖氏とともに汗を流したことを明かした。
ともに45歳と同世代の2人。2002年の日韓ワールドカップ(W杯)や2006年のドイツW杯では一緒に日本代表のメンバーとしてプレーした。
現在は解説者を務める福西氏だが、18日に自身のSNSを更新。「ツネとフットサル」と一緒にフットサルしたことを報告。さらに「あいかわらずの指示やったわぁ 真面目かって…懐かし」と現役時代を懐かしむように綴った。
また、2人は汗びっしょりの姿だが、福西氏は「雨ちゃうで汗やで」と明かしており、相当ハードに取り組んだようだ。
日本代表を支えた2人の姿にはファンも反応。「イケメン2トップ」、「最高すぎる2ショット 私も一緒にフットサルしたい」、「お二人共、大好きです」、「現役時代の活躍を思い出しました」と当時を知るファンから反響が寄せられている。

アーセナルに所属するなでしこジャパンのFW岩渕真奈に日本代表でも活躍した選手たちとの出会いがあったようだ。
日本でオフを過ごしている岩渕は、アパレルブランド『VIRI-DARI DESERTA』の展示会を訪れた際に、元日本代表のMF福西崇史とMF石川直宏と偶然出会ったという。
3人はそれぞれSNSを更新。同ブランドのディレクターである渡邉俊介氏と並んでの4ショットを投稿した。
岩渕も「素敵な展示会で素敵な方々に会えました」と報告。さらに、会場だったコーヒーショップ『Swell Coffee Roasters』の「コーヒーも美味しかった」と感想を綴っている。
そして、今回が初対面だった福西氏には「ジュビロの時好きでした笑」と石川氏には「小さいときなななななないしかわなーおって歌ってました笑」と2人が現役時代だった頃のエピソードを明かしている。
