J1優勝7回、鹿島一筋23年のGK曽ヶ端準が現役引退「すべてが財産」

鹿島アントラーズは24日、GK曽ヶ端準(41)が現役を引退することを発表した。 鹿島ユース出身の曽ヶ端は、1998年にトップチームに昇格。小笠原満男、中田浩二、本山雅志らと同期入団だった曽ヶ端だが、当初は出場機会を得られなかった。 しかし、2001年に正守護神のGK高桑大二朗に代わってレギュラーの座を奪うと、2017年まで正守護神の座を守り、2008年2014年までの7シーズンはフル出場を果たしていた。 鹿島一筋で23シーズンプレーし、J1リーグでは歴代第5位となる通算533試合に出場。リーグカップ通算83試合、天皇杯通算66試合に出場。AFCチャンピオンズリーグ(ACL)では通算41試合、FIFAクラブワールドカップ通算5試合に出場していた。 クラブとしての獲得タイトルはJ1で7回(1998、2000、2001、2007、2008、2009、2016)、リーグカップで5回(2000、2002、2011、2012、2015)、天皇杯で4回(2000、2007、2010、2016)優勝。ACLでも2018年に優勝を経験していた。 個人タイトルでも2001年にヤマザキナビスコカップでニューヒーロー賞を受賞。2002年にはベストイレブン、2003年にはフェアプレー個人賞を受賞していた。 また、日本代表としても4試合に出場。2002年の日韓ワールドカップのメンバー入りした他、2004年のアテネ・オリンピックにもオーバーエイジ枠として出場していた。 曽ヶ端はクラブを通じてコメントしている。 「今シーズン限りで、現役生活を終えることを決めました。僕は鹿嶋で生まれ育ち、このまちに鹿島アントラーズが誕生し、始まりは1人のサポーターでした。それがユースに入り、プロになり、1つのクラブでここまで長くプレーできるとは想像もしていませんでした」 「鹿島アントラーズで獲得した数多くのタイトル、ともに戦った監督、選手、スタッフ、フロント、パートナー、自分と関わってくれた指導者、いつも支えてくれた両親、兄、妻、子どもたち、そしてファン・サポーターの方々、すべてが財産です。このクラブで勝利のためにプレーし、引退できることを、心から嬉しく思います。23年間、ありがとうございました!」 2020.12.24 15:24 Thu

鈴木優磨が“金髪”にする理由を告白

2020年引退の内田篤人、曽ヶ端準、野沢拓也が「アントラーズ功労賞」を受賞…通算21人

常勝軍団・鹿島の“象徴”MF小笠原満男が引退の理由を語る「ピッチの上で勝たせることができなくなった」

▽28日、2018シーズン限りでの現役引退を発表した鹿島アントラーズの元日本代表MF小笠原満男(39)の引退会見が行われた。 ▽1998年に大船渡高校から鹿島に入団した小笠原は、1年目にJリーグデビューを果たすと、2年目以降は出場機会を増やしていき、その後はレギュラーとしてプレーした。 ▽引退会見は、小笠原が長年プレーした本拠地の県立カシマサッカースタジアムで行われ、多くの報道陣が駆けつけた。 ▽小笠原は会見の冒頭で引退を決断した理由について「最大の理由としては、今シーズン1年を振り返ってみて、なかなか試合に出る機会が少なくなり、ピッチの上でチームを勝たせることができなくなってきたということです」と明かした。 ▽また、「今の心境としてはサッカーが大好きだし、アントラーズが大好きだし、まだまだサッカーをやりたいという気持ちがあるっていうのが正直な気持ちです」としつつ「チームが好きだからこそ、このチームがさらに強くなっていくためには、自分が出場するよりもっとこれから若い選手、これからの選手にピッチに立って欲しいと思ったのも一つです」とコメント。「アントラーズが強くなるために必要なことだと思ったので、自分は身を引くときかなと思い決断しました」と理由を明かした。 ▽また、今後については「鹿島アントラーズにここまで育ててもらったので、これからは自分が恩返しして行きたい気持ちが強くなりました」とコメント。「具体的なことはこれから話をさせてもらいますが、アントラーズが強くなるために、もっともっと成長していくために、そこの力になれることを自分なりに見つけたいと思います」と語った。 ▽21年間応援をしてくれたファン・サポーターに向けては「これまで応援していただいたサポーターの皆さんには感謝の気持ちしかないですし、良い時も悪い時も鹿島アントラーズ、自分を応援してくれて、その声援のおかげでここまでやってこれました。すごく感謝していますし、これからも鹿島アントラーズを応援していって欲しいなと思います」とメッセージを送った。 ▽小笠原はJリーグ通算525試合69得点、Jリーグカップ通算63試合8得点、天皇杯通算59試合11得点を記録。Jリーグ優勝7回、Jリーグカップ優勝5回、天皇杯優勝4回、ACL優勝1回を経験し、クラブの20冠のうち17冠を達成した常勝軍団・鹿島の象徴。2001年から2005年、2009年にはJリーグベストイレブン、2009年には最優秀選手賞を受賞した。 ※記者会見の全容は後ほど掲載します 2018.12.28 14:38 Fri
