スウェーデンサッカー協会(SvFF)は12日、国際親善試合2試合に向けたスウェーデン代表メンバー23名を発表した。

スウェーデンのAIKフットボールのユニフォームデザインが話題を集めている。
AIKは17日、スペシャルエディションとなるユニフォームデザインを発表。創立132周年を祝したキットは本拠地であるストックホルムに敬意を示し、街を描いたとされる16世紀の油絵をモチーフとしたパターンが、白基調のシャツに描かれている。
袖はクラブカラーの黒と黄色で縁取られ、エンブレムは3Dシリコンに。金属粒子により、ゴールドの輝きを引き立たせている。ユニフォームは132部の限定販売となり、シーズンチケット所有者を中心に直接購入希望の連絡が渡るとのことだ。
「世界一スタイリッシュなクラブ」と称されるAIKは、2017年から限定ユニフォームを作成。売上は非営利団体であるスタジアム・スポーツ・キャンプに直接寄付され、経済的手段を持たない子供たちがキャンプに参加する機会をもてるよう使用されている。
男子チームはAIKソルナとして知られ、スウェーデン1部のアルスヴェンカンに所属。これまで6度のリーグ優勝を誇る。女子チームには過去になでしこジャパンの林穂之香(ウェストハム)が在籍。今季は2部を戦う。
コミュニケーション・マネージャーであるトビアス・ラーション氏はユニフォームの発表にあたり、「AIKフットボールにとって、スタイルとは単なる服装以上のもの」と、クラブの哲学について語っている。

ユニフォームを紹介した『ESPN』やクラブ公式サイトには「これは美しい」、「脱帽!」といった賛辞に加え、購入を希望する一般のファンから生産数の少なさを残念に思う声などが寄せられている。

スペインの面々を知るスウェーデン女子代表FWフリドリーナ・ロルフォが、オーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子ワールドカップ(W杯)準決勝への意気込みを語った。国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)が伝えた。
東京オリンピックで銀メダルに輝いたスウェーデンは、今大会でも貫禄を見せ、グループステージを無傷の3戦全勝で突破した。
ノックアウトステージではラウンド16でPK戦の末にアメリカ女子代表の3連覇を阻み、準々決勝では一躍注目を集めたなでしこジャパンを撃破。優勝候補の上がる通り、力強くアグレッシブでありながら我慢もできる、柔軟性のある戦い方で勝ち進んできた。15日の準決勝ではスペイン女子代表と相まみえる。
バルセロナで昨季のUEFA女子チャンピオンズリーグ(UWCL)を制したロルフォにとって、スペインには知った顔が多数。「毎試合彼女たちを応援してきましたし、トーナメント中ずっとお互いにメッセージを送り合ってきました。向こうが勝ったとき、私たちが勝ったときにはおめでとうと言い合いました」と、クラブでの絆をうかがわせる。
バルセロナでもスペインでもチームの枢軸を担うアイタナ・ボンマティは特に仲の良い1人とのこと。「彼女は本当に素晴らしい」と、警戒以上に賛辞を惜しまない。

左サイドで力強いスプリントを繰り返すロルフォも、悲願の初タイトルへ力強く意気込みを述べた。
「今回、我々はまた素晴らしいチームと対戦することになりますが、大きな自信を持っています。スペインに勝つとは約束できませんが、全力を尽くすことは約束できます。日本戦と同じようにプレーできれば、決勝に進出できるチャンスがあると思いますし、スウェーデン代表と国民のためにこのタイトルを勝ち取りたいと思っています」

スウェーデンサッカー協会(SvFF) とアディダスは14日、スウェーデン代表の新ユニフォームを発表した。
ユーロ2024予選ではグループFに入ったものの、ベルギー代表とオーストリア代表に後れを取り、無念の予選敗退となったスウェーデン。2月には元デンマーク代表FWヨン・ダール・トマソン氏を新監督に迎えた。
新生スウェーデンの新ユニフォームは、太陽が完全に沈まない、一年で最も日が長いスウェーデンの夏至の日からインスピレーションを得ており、太陽をイメージしたサークルデザインを採用。よく見ると左胸のエンブレムからいくつもの円が徐々に大きくなるようにデザインされている。
ホームユニフォームは、明るい黄色をベースとしつつ、水色と青の2色をアクセントカラーに使用。これは空と水からインスピレーションを得ているという。
一方のアウェイユニフォームは、青をベースにしながら黄色とピンクをアクセントカラーに使用している。
どちらもデザイン自体は共通で、アウェイユニフォームの方が円が分かりやすいカラーリングに。また、どちらも襟の形がY字になっているのも特徴的だ。
ただ、このデザインはファンに不評。SvFFの公式X(旧ツイッター)には「めちゃくちゃ酷い」、「複雑な気持ちだ」、「一体どうすればこんなにも間違った方向に進むのか」、「今まで観た中で最も酷い」という否定的な意見が多く寄せられている。

マンチェスター・シティのスウェーデン女子代表MFフィリパ・アンイエルダール(26)が、チームを離れるようだ。スウェーデン『Sportbladet』が伝えた。
アンイエルダールは2021年9月にヘッケンからシティへ加入し、自身初の国外クラブ挑戦を果たした。
スウェーデン女子代表としても54キャップを誇り、オーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子ワールドカップ(W杯)では、なでしこジャパン相手にPKを沈めた。
シティではここまで67試合に出場し、8得点をマーク。今季のリーグ戦もスタメン8試合を含む12試合に出場している。
一方で、2年プラス延長1年の契約期間が今季で終了。アーセナルが手を挙げていると伝えられていたが、同メディアによればレアル・マドリー行きが濃厚とのことだ。
もちろん、シティも契約延長を希望している。中盤2列目ではジェス・パークが好調だが、前十字じん帯損傷で離脱中のジル・ルード復帰までにはまだ時間がかかり、デイナ・カステリャノスも今冬に移籍。層が厚いわけでは決してない。
現在FA女子スーパーリーグ(FAWSL)で2位に付けるシティは、順当にいけば来季の女子チャンピオンズリーグ(UWCL)を2年ぶりに獲得できる。一定のスカッドをそろえておきたいシティにとっても留めたい選手なだけに、去就には注目が集まりそうだ。
