6日、来日しているインテル・マイアミの来日記念パーティーが開催。集まった豪華メンバーに注目が集まっている。
元イングランド代表MFのデイビッド・ベッカム氏が共同オーナーを務めるメジャーリーグ・サッカー(MLS)のインテル・マイアミ。アルゼンチン代表FWリオネル・メッシをはじめ、ウルグアイ代表FWルイス・スアレス、元スペイン代表MFセルヒオ・ブスケッツ、DFジョルディ・アルバと元バルセロナの選手が多く所属している。
そのインテル・マイアミは、2024シーズンの開幕を前にプレシーズンツアーを実施。アル・ヒラル、アル・ナスルのサウジアラビア勢と戦った後、4日に香港選抜チームと対戦。7日には「Inter Miami in Tokyo 2024」にて国立競技場でヴィッセル神戸と対戦することとなっている。
6日の昼には、神戸戦に向けた記者会見も実施されていたなか、夜には来日記念パーティーが開催。「Inter Miami in Tokyo 2024」の公式X(旧ツイッター)がその様子を伝えている。
最高額は1人300万円というスペシャル・エクスペリエンス・シートのチケットを持っている一般の参加者もいる中、パーティーには、インテル・マイアミの選手だけでなく、メッシらとバルセロナでも一緒にプレーし、神戸でもプレーしていた元スペイン代表MFアンドレス・イニエスタ(現エミレーツ・クラブ)や神戸の三木谷浩史代表取締役会長の姿もあった。
豪華メンバーの集まりには、ファンも「ほぼバルサの同窓会じゃん」、「これは夢ですか?」、「当時のスタメン5人が式典に居るって凄いです」、「メンツえぐすぎる」とコメント。3冠達成を果たした2014-2015シーズンなどバルセロナの黄金期の主力を担った選手たちの再会に喜びの声を寄せている。

イルハン・マンスズの名を覚えているだろうか。
今から20年前の2002年に日韓ワールドカップが開催。国中がサッカーに沸いた中、その中でもひと際注目を集めたのが、当時イングランド代表だったデイビッド・ベッカム氏だ。日本では“ベッカム・フィーバー”が巻き起こり、その髪型を模したモヒカンヘアーも流行った。
そして、もう1人“イケメン”として脚光を浴びたのがトルコ代表だったイルハンだ。
「イルハン王子」の愛称で女性を中心にファンを獲得し、テレビや雑誌でも特集がなされた。長髪をなびかせながら頭の上で髪の毛をとめるちょんまげスタイルにクシャっとした笑顔は多くの人のハートを撃ち抜いた。
ピッチの上でも、控えという立場ながら全7試合に出場すると、チーム最多の3得点をマーク。トルコの史上初の3位という結果に大きく貢献している。
そのイルハンは大会後の2004年にヴィッセル神戸へと加入。Jリーグでは負傷の影響もありほとんど出場機会もないまま、最終的には無断帰国という形での退団となったが、その意味でも記憶に残っている人はいるのではないだろうか。
現役引退後にはフィギュアスケーターへの転身も明らかになったイルハン。46歳になったイルハンのSNSを覗くとすっかり“イケオジ”になったようだ。
トルコ代表の公式SNSや現地のメディアなどは22日、「今から20年前、イルハンのゴールで代表が準決勝に進出」と当時を振り返っており、現地では、代表チームを史上初のW杯3位に導いた英雄として認識されているようだ。

アジアサッカー連盟(AFC)は13日、マレーシアのジョホール・ダルル・タクジム(JDT)がAFCチャンピオンズリーグ(ACL)2020を棄権したことを発表した。
JDTはグループGに入り、ヴィッセル神戸、広州恒大、水原三星ブルーウィングスと同居。ここまで2試合を行っていた。
11月18日からはカタールで集中開催されるACLだが、JDTはマレーシア政府からカタールへの渡航許可が下りなかったことを11日に発表。参加を諦める旨を発表していた。
AFCもJDTの棄権を認めたこととなり、この結果、大会規則によりJDTの試合が全て無効となることに。神戸は開幕戦で5-1と大勝を収めていたが、この試合結果がないものとなった。
これによりグループGは3チームのみの参加となり、神戸は水原三星に1-0で勝利しておりグループ首位。2位は未消化の広州恒大、3位に水原三星となる。なお、試合スケジュールに変更はない。

ヴィッセル神戸の選手たちが明治安田生命J1リーグ第10節の横浜F・マリノス戦に向け準備を進めている。
昨シーズンのJ1をクラブ史上最高の3位で終えた神戸。しかし、今シーズンはここまで3試合を終えて2分け1敗。未だ勝利がない中で、前節はホーム開幕戦でアビスパ福岡相手にゴールレスドロー。今節は再びアウェイゲームに臨み、横浜FMと対戦することとなる。
神戸は試合を目前に控えた2日、公式インスタグラムを更新。「アウェイと言えばチームスーツ!今年もチームスーツは洋服の青山さん いつもありがとうございます!」と添え、DF槙野智章、FW武藤嘉紀、FWボージャン・クルキッチ、GK前川黛也、MF扇原貴宏の移動中の写真を掲載した。
選手たちは洋服の青山の『HILTON』製のネイビーのスーツを着用。槙野や武藤はスーツの上からでも筋肉量が多いことがハッキリと分かる。一方、ボージャンは鮮やかな白のスニーカーを合わせているのが特徴的だ。前川はリュック、扇原は足元にブラウンのモンクストラップの革靴を合わせ、各々が個性を醸しだしている。
ユニフォームとはまた違った選手たちの姿には、ファンから「よっち(武藤)のスーツ姿はイケてるビジネスマンにも見える。CMとか出てほしいlという声も寄せられていた。
このスーツを身に纏い、日産スタジアムへと乗り込む神戸の面々。待望の初白星を掴むことができるだろうか。
