データおよびテクノロジーにおけるリーディングカンパニーの「ニールセン・グレースノート」が、オーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子ワールドカップ(W杯)に出場する選手のインフルエンサーとしてのランキングを発表した。
なでしこジャパンも出場する女子W杯。開幕までおよそ1カ月となった中で、各国の出場選手も決定している。
「ニールセン・グレースノート」は出場する選手の中での、インフルエンサーとしてのランキングを発表。フォロワーやフォロワーの増加、エンゲージメント率など、インスタグラム上の投稿ごとの平均ブランド価値を評価してランキングを発表した。
トップ10が発表され、実に9カ国の選手がランクイン。アメリカ女子代表のみが唯一2選手がランクインしている。
1位に輝いたのは、アストン・ビラでプレーするスイス女子代表のアリーシャ・レーマン。世界一セクシーなアスリートとしても知られ、インスタグラムのフォロワーは1340万人。元プロテニスプレーヤーのロジャー・フェデラーを超え、インスタグラムで最も人気のあるスイス人アスリートとなっている。
アストン・ビラでは2シーズンでFA女子スーパーリーグ(FAWSL)で43試合に出場し7ゴール。スイス代表としても38キャップを記録している。
2位には、バルセロナのエースでありスペイン女子代表のエースでもあるMFアレクシア・プテジャス。フォロワーは280万人であり、1位のレーマンがどれほどのフォロワーを抱えているかがわかる。
2シーズン連続でUEFA年間最優秀女子選手、バロンドールを受賞。2021年にはFIFA最優秀女子選手賞を受賞している。

フランス代表の新ユニフォームのデザインがリークされている。ユニフォーム専門サイト『Footy Headlines』が伝えている。
『Footy Headlines』によると、2024年6月に開幕するユーロ2024を前に、その大会で着用する各国代表のユニフォームのデザインについての情報も出てきており、フランスもその1つに。いくつかの情報が出ている中で予想デザインも作られている。
そのデザインについては、フランス代表のホームユニフォームでよく用いられるネイビーというよりは、かなり明るめの青がベースとなるようだ。
その上で、襟は青、白、赤のトリコロールに。袖口と脇のサイドの部分に赤がアクセントとして用いられている。
また、シャツは無地でクラシックな印象に。さらに左胸のエンブレムが通常よりも大きく施され、クラシカルな印象を強めている。
このシャツに、白いショーツと赤のソックスという組み合わせが採用されるという。
このデザインには、ファンも「今までのナイキのキットの中でベストだと言わざるを得ない」、「10点満点の美しいユニフォーム」、「素晴らしいと言わざるを得ない」、「とてもクラシック」とコメントしており、クラシカルなテイストは好評のようだ。
なお、ユニフォームの正式発表は2024年の3月から4月にかけて行われる可能性が高いようだ。

スタッド・レンヌのMFエドゥアルド・カマヴィンガがフランス代表デビューを果たした。
フランス代表は8日、UEFAネーションズリーグのリーグA・グループ3第2節のクロアチア代表戦を戦った。試合は先制を許したものの、前半のうちに逆転に成功。後半の立ち上がりに再び同点にされると迎えた63分、MFエンゴロ・カンテとの交代でカマヴィンガが登場。今回が初招集だった17歳の若武者がレ・ブルーのユニフォームを初めて身に纏った。
フランス『レキップ』によると、出場時間32分の中でボールタッチは26回。試合の3分の1の時間ながら、カンテの33回に迫るタッチ数に。また、71分には枠内シュートを記録。2度のデュエルにも勝利するなど、まずまずのデビュー戦となったようだ。ディディエ・デシャン監督も試合後に「あの年齢にもかかわらず、彼は冷静さと優れた平常心を持っている」と称賛している。
そして、カマヴィンガの17歳303日という記録は、ここ100年以上の歴史において同国史上最年少。それ以前には、1906年にジュリアン・フェルブリュッヘ氏が16歳10カ月、1914年にはモーリス・ガスタイガー氏が17歳4カ月というデビュー記録を持っていたようだ。
デシャン監督はまた、「彼には彼らしさを保ってもらいたい。自然体のままでいてもらいたい。今回は観客はいなくてもプレッシャーや責任感のある試合だった。その中で彼は非常に快適にプレーしていた。運動神経もよく、ボールを上手く扱える能力もある。久々の最年少記録になったし、再び代表で試合するチャンスはある」と、カマヴィンガにエールを送った。
なお、試合はカマヴィンガ投入後に2得点したフランス代表が4-2で勝利している。

ロシアW杯王者にして昨シーズンのUEFAネーションズリーグ制覇も成し遂げ、有力な優勝候補に挙がるフランス。ただ、欧州予選での思わぬ苦戦に加え、今シーズンのUEFAネーションズリーグでの不振、旧態依然とも揶揄されるデシャン監督の采配含め、チームは不安を抱える形で今大会を迎えた。ユーロ2020以降は3バックをメインシステムに採用していたが、今大会では[4-2-3-1]への原点回帰を図る見込みで、その選択が吉と出るか凶と出るか注目だ。
GKのポジションはミラン守護神メニャンが間に合わなかったことは誤算だが、キャプテンで正GKを務めるロリスは好調を維持。また、アレオラと共にバックアップを担う大ベテランのマンダンダはレンヌで状態を上げていることに加え、その優れた人格によってチームのメンタル面のケアも託される。

中盤ではポグバ、カンテという絶対的な主力の負傷離脱によって厳しい状況だ。前回大会経験者は1人もおらず、代表キャップもラビオが唯一30試合近くに出ているが、その他の選手は出場数がほぼ一桁と経験不足が顕著だ。チュアメニとカマヴィンガのレアル・マドリーコンビを中心に怖いもの知らずの若手の活躍なくして連覇達成はない。
その中盤とは打って変わって前線は世界屈指のユニットを形成している。直前の負傷で無念の離脱となったエンクンクに加え、バロンドーラーであるベンゼマのコンディションが気がかりではあるが、ミランで第二の春を謳歌するジルー、今季絶好調のテュラム、コロ・ムアニがバックアップを担う。また、トップ下起用が見込まれるグリーズマン、前回大会に続く主役候補のムバッペに、デンベレとコマンという強烈な個の力を持つドリブラーが躍動を狙う。
