Jリーグは22日、各クラブの2025シーズンのホームグロウン選手の人数を発表した。
ホームグロウン制度は、各クラブが選手育成にコミットし、アカデミーの現場を変えていくことを目的に導入したもの。12歳の誕生日を迎える年度から21歳の誕生日を迎える年度までの期間において、990日以上、自クラブで登録していた選手が対象となる。
期限付移籍の選手は、移籍先クラブでの登録となり、21歳以下の期限付移籍選手の育成期間は、移籍元クラブでカウント。JFA・Jリーグ特別指定選手は、ホームグロウン選手とはみなされない。
2025シーズンに関しては、J1のクラブは4名、J2・J3のクラブは2名以上と定められている中、14クラブが不遵守となっており、昨シーズンから2クラブ増えることとなった。
明治安田J2リーグではいわきFCと藤枝MYFCが昨シーズンに続いて「0人」、明治安田J3リーグではヴァンラーレ八戸、福島ユナイテッドFC、栃木シティ、SC相模原、FC大阪、高知ユナイテッドSC、テゲバジャーロ宮崎が「0人」、ザスパ群馬、FC岐阜、奈良クラブが「1人」となっている。
これまで不遵守となったクラブは、翌シーズンのプロA契約選手の「25名枠」から不足人数分減じられることとなっていたが、2026シーズンからはプロ契約の区分が撤退されるため、処分はない。
なお、全部60クラブで最も多くホームグロウン選手を登録しているのはFC東京で15名。続いて13名の鹿島アントラーズとサンフレッチェ広島、12名の柏レイソル、11名の川崎フロンターレ、RB大宮アルディージャと続いている。

鹿島アントラーズのFW鈴木優磨が金髪にしている理由を明かした。
鹿島のアカデミー育ちの鈴木。2019年7月に海を渡りシント=トロイデンへ完全移籍すると、3シーズンでジュピラー・プロ・リーグ69試合に出場し26ゴール6アシストを記録。今シーズンから古巣の鹿島へ電撃復帰を果たした。
古巣では小笠原満男氏が背負った「40」をつけ、明治安田生命J1リーグでも16試合で6ゴール6アシストとゴールに絡み、抜群の存在感を放っている。
プレー以外でも目立つことの多い鈴木だが、まず印象的なのは金色に染め上げた髪型。鹿島の企画で、クラブアパレルブランド「F.D.」のD.O.P.(Director of Project)を務める源馬大輔氏と対談した鈴木がその理由を話した。
髪の毛のルーティンやこだわりについて聞かれた鈴木は「特にないですね」と正直に告白。「とりあえず黒髪が似合わないんで金髪に…してるだけですね」と率直に話した。
「ピッチでも目立つしそれもいいんじゃないですか」とフォローされると、「でもただでさえ目立つんで普通にしてても。なおさらまあいいかなって感じです」と続けていた。
また、最後にスタッフから「ファッション業界からもキャラクターの認知度が上がっていくのはおいしいですよね」と尋ねられるた鈴木は、「そうですね。そういうのも欲しいですね」と意欲を覗かせている。

28日に発売される女性ファッション誌『Oggi』の11月号が発売。全12ページで特集が掲載されている鹿島アントラーズの公式SNSでも撮影風景などを公開している。
今回の特集には、中田浩二C.R.Oの他、土居聖真、安西幸輝、三竿健斗、鈴木優磨、常本佳吾、荒木遼太郎が登場。選手たちはユニフォームを脱ぎ、ファッション誌ならではのモデル仕様に。衣装はもちろん、髪型などを整え、ピッチ上とは全く違う魅力を見せている。
爽やかなショットが数多くある一方、自身のスタイルを隠しきれない選手もいたようだ。安西と鈴木の2ショットでは、2人ともサングラスを着用。ともにTシャツの上にシャツアウターを羽織り、秋の装いだ。
ただ、2人ともパンツのポケットに手を突っ込みながらカメラをのぞき込んでいるが、その様子はさながらガンを飛ばしているようにも見えてしまう。
独自の路線を行く2人にはファンも反応。「んっ?チンピラいた」、「鈴木優磨イカつ!!」といった言葉が並んだ。
それでも、「すんごい楽しそう」、「かわいいっすね」、「帰り本屋さん行かなきゃ」、「ちょっと気になるから買うか」といった言葉も多くを占めており、応援している選手たちのピッチとは違う姿に期待を寄せているようだ。

Jリーグは9日、Jリーグ開幕32周年を記念して、過去のリーグ戦32試合をJリーグ公式YouTube・TikTokチャンネルにて連続ライブ配信することを発表した。
1993年5月15日に開幕したJリーグ。今年で32周年を迎える中、Jリーグの日 特別企画として5月15日(木)の5時15分から「32試合フルマッチライブ配信」を実施する。
5月17日(土)の12時40分まで、連続して32試合のフルマッチを配信。1993シーズンから2024シーズンのリーグ戦のうち、毎シーズン1試合をピックアップして配信します。2016年以前の試合については、実況・解説を再収録して行われる。
なお、アーカイブは行われないため、ライブ配信でのみ楽しめることとなる。

鹿島アントラーズでテクニカルダイレクター(TD)を務めていたジーコ氏(68)が愛する人への言葉を綴った。
ジーコ氏は今季限りでTDを勇退し、来シーズン以降はアドバイザー職に就くと報じられている。1991年に来日し、住友金属(現:鹿島アントラーズ)に加入して4シーズンプレー。常勝軍団の礎を築いた。
引退後、1996年から2002年まではTD、1999年に総監督、2002年からは日本代表の監督も務め、日本サッカーの発展に尽力。その後は他国を拠点に活動していたが、2018年7月に鹿島のTDに復帰していた。
現在はブラジルに帰国し、大切な家族との時間を過ごしているジーコ氏は、19日に自身のインスタグラムに新たな写真を投稿。愛くるしい孫たちの姿や、結婚46周年を迎えた奥さんとのツーショットともに感謝のメッセージを綴っている。
「46年前、私たちは人生において重要な一歩を踏み出しました。サンドラと私は、愛、愛情、そして尊敬の念を通して家族を築くことができました」
