かつてJリーグでプレーしたストライカーの息子が交通事故に遭遇。頭部を負傷したという。ブラジル『グローボ』が伝えた。
FC東京やガンバ大阪などでプレーし、2014年1月に引退したルーカス・セベリーノ。息子であるペドロ・セベリーノ(19)はレッドブル・ブラガンチーノのU-19チームに所属している。
父と同じストライカーとしてプレーするペドロ・セベリーノだが、報道によると4日の夜に高速道路を走行中にトラックと衝突事故に遭遇。頭部に外傷を負っているとのことだ。
また、搬送された病院の広報によると、ペドロ・セベリーノに関しては「脳死確認手続き」が開始されたとのことだ。
「厳格な評価とすべての医療プロトコルに従った後、ワルデマール・テバルディ医師市立病院は、今週火曜日(4日)、アンハングエラ高速道路での悲惨な事故の犠牲者である19歳の男性の脳死を確認する手続きを開始することを通知します」
「脳死を確認するには、2人の医師が最低1時間の間隔を空けて臨床検査を行う必要があるほか、患者は無呼吸テストや追加検査を受ける必要があります。この手続きは、午後4時30分にプロトコルが開かれてから最大24時間かかる場合があります。市立病院チームは家族に可能な限りのサポートを提供しています」
ペドロ・セベリーノは、チームメイトのペドロ・カストロと共に乗車。ペドロ・カストロは軽傷で、体に数箇所の打撲を負っただけだったという。ペドロ・セベリーノは、ボタフォゴSPに所属しており、レッドブル・ブラガンチーノにはレンタル移籍したばかり。2024年にはプロとして初めて出場した公式大会のコパ・パウリスタで4ゴールを記録し、チーム内得点王になっていた。
父のルーカス氏はアンダー世代のブラジル代表を経験。シドニー・オリンピックにもロナウジーニョらと出場。Jリーグでは、FC東京、G大阪でプレーし、J1通算241試合79ゴール27アシストを記録。FC東京では2004年にリーグカップ、2011年に天皇杯、G大阪では2008年、2009年に天皇杯、2008年にはAFCチャンピオンズリーグ(ACL)でも優勝を経験していた。
