ユベントスは10日、アニェッリ家のクラブ所有から100年を記念したイベント「Togetter, a Black & White show 」をトリノで開催した。
1923年にエドアルド・アニェッリ氏がオーナーに就任し、以降アニェッリ家が代々オーナーを務めているユベントス。現在もアニェッリ家のメンバーの1人であるジョン・エルカーン氏が会長を務めている。
ユベントスのイベントには多くのクラブレジェンドたちも参加。元フランス代表MFジネディーヌ・ジダン氏のチーム・ジダンと元イタリア代表FWアレッサンドロ・デル・ピエロ氏のチーム・デル・ピエロの対決も行われ、チーム・ジダンが9-6で勝利していた。
また、レジェンドたちは現役の所属選手たちとも交流。現役のスター選手たちも少年に戻り、写真をお願いしていた。
大きな盛り上がりを見せたイベントだったが、ユベントスが公式SNSに投稿した1枚のセルフィーも話題に。デル・ピエロ氏が撮った1枚の写真には、ジダン氏と元オランダ代表MFのエドガー・ダービッツ氏も笑顔で写っていた。
2000年前後のユベントスを代表するレジェンドたちの共演には、ファンから「究極の自撮り」、「額縁に飾るべき」、「心が持たない」、「マンマミーア」と反響が寄せられている。

バルセロナのレジェンドたちが再びピッチに立った。クラブ公式サイトが伝えている。
世界有数のビッグクラブであるバルセロナ。世界各地にサッカースクールがあり、中央アジアのキルギスにもサッカースクールを開校。29日に1つ目のスクールが開設され、近いうちに首都ビシュケクにもサッカースクールができる予定だ。
ジョアン・ラポルタ会長らもキルギスを訪れている中、今回の企画の一環でバルサレジェンズが試合を実施。かつてクラブで活躍してレジェンドたちもキルギスへと集まり、アジアレジェンズと対戦した。
アルベルト・フェレール監督率いるバルサレジェンズは、リバウド氏、フアン・パブロ・ソリン氏、ハビエル・サビオラ氏がそろってゴール。3-0の勝利を収めている。なお、メンバーには呼ばれていたもののキルギスへと行けなかったロナウジーニョ氏は欠席していた。
バルサレジェンズの活動はまだ続き、次は9月5日と7日にイスラエルでマッカビ・テルアビブとマッカビ・ハイファと対戦する予定だ。

ナイキの最新フットボールキャンペーン「Footballverse」のプロモーション映像が注目を集めている。
ナイキは16日、「全ての世代のアスリートがスポーツの歴史に名を残し、そのスポーツの世界を広げただけではなく、未来の世代のアスリートたちが自分達の爪痕を刻むことを励ましている」との主張のもと、「Footballverse」を展開。過去から現代に至るナイキの偉大なプレイヤーたちが主役となり、彼らが一つのピッチで競う世界を、想像力と遊び心を交えて描いた。
ストーリーはスイスのジュネーブにある秘密研究所を舞台とする。科学者たちは、現代のフランス代表FWキリアン・ムバッペと2006年のロナウジーニョ、どちらが優れているかという議論を発端に、「マルチバース」と呼ばれる仮想選手を召喚して実際に対戦させようと試みた。
フィルムには2人のほかに、元ブラジル代表のロナウド氏、ポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウドとその息子ジュニアくんや、アメリカ女子代表FWアレックス・モーガンなど10名を超えるナイキの契約アスリートが登場。は映画「ときめきサイエンス」のダニー・エルフマン作曲でオインゴ・ボインゴによる懐かしいサウンドトラックも採用されている。
新旧レジェンドの共演には「これまでに作成された最高のマルチバース!」、「涙がこぼれました」、「ナイキは常にコマーシャルで先を行っています」、「美しく壮大で記憶に残るコマーシャル!」といった大賛辞が寄せられた。
また、実在の登場人物のみならず、イナズマイレブンのキャラクター、豪炎寺修也も登場。「ゴウエンジが出てきてカッコいい」「GOUENJIが入っているだけで最高のサッカーCM」「みんなGouenjiを入れた」「豪炎寺修也、史上最高!」と、日本のゲームキャラクターには海外のファンからも熱い視線が注がれることとなった。

オランダサッカー協会(KNVB)は7日、エドガー・ダービッツ氏(49)が代表チームのアシスタントコーチに就任したことを発表した。
オランダ代表では先月6日、カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)後のロナルド・クーマン氏の監督就任が決定した。大会はルイス・ファン・ハール監督が指揮する予定だが、そのアシスタントを務めているヘンク・フレイザー氏が来季からユトレヒトの監督に就任するにあたり、ここで袂を分かつことになった。
その後任としてダービッツ氏が選ばれた。オランダ代表で74キャップを持つ同氏は、W杯に1度、ユーロに3度出場した経歴を持つ。クラブレベルではプロデビューしたアヤックスをはじめ、ミランやユベントス、インテルなど主にセリエAのビッグクラブでプレー。アヤックスではビッグイヤーも獲得している。
コーチングキャリアとしては、現役時代の2012年に加入した当時イングランド4部のバーネットで選手と兼任で監督を務めたことが始まり。2013年末の現役引退と同時に監督も辞任し、以降はオランダ2部のテルスターでアシスタントコーチ、昨年上半期にはポルトガル4部のオリャネンセで監督を務めた。
この度、再び表舞台に戻ってきたダービッツ氏は、「ルイス・ファン・ハールのような監督と一緒にトレーナーとしてキャリアを続け、オランダの絶対的なトップと仕事ができることを誇りに思う。そして、強い熱意でこの仕事に取り組みたいと思う」とコメント。
また、ファン・ハール監督も「私はエドガーにアシスタントコーチになってくれるよう頼んだ。我々はこれまで定期的に顔を合わせてきたが、彼ならこの役割を見事に果たしてくれると確信している」と信頼を言葉を寄せた。

ポルトガルのオリャネンセは19日、エドガー・ダービッツ監督(48)の解任を発表した。
現役時代はオランダ代表MFとしても活躍し、アヤックスやミラン、ユベントス、バルセロナ、インテル、トッテナムなどでもプレーした。
2012年10月にイングランド5部のバーネットで選手兼任の監督として指揮を執ると、引退後は指導者の道へ。アシスタントコーチやトレーニングコーチなどを務め、2021年1月にポルトガル3部のオリャネンセで初の監督キャリアをスタートさせていた。
オリャネンセはクラブの公式フェイスブックでダービッツ監督の解任を発表。「オリャネンセはエドガー・ダービッツと合意に達し、彼は我々のチームの監督ではないことを通知します」とし、「我々はあなたの次のプロジェクトのため、最大の成功を祈っています」と発表した。

地元であるノッティンガム・フォレストのユース育ちのジェナス氏は、ニューカッスルでブレイクを果たすと2005年にトッテナムに移籍し、2000年代後半の中盤を支えた。
移籍初年度の2005年10月22日に行われたプレミアリーグ第10節のマンチェスター・ユナイテッド戦では、名手ファン・デル・サールから見事なFKを決めている。
0-1と1点ビハインドで迎えた72分、ゴールほぼ正面の位置でトッテナムがFKを獲得すると、MFマイケル・キャリック、MFエドガー・ダービッツもいたものの、ジェナスがキッカーを担う。
右足で巻いたシュートは、壁をわずか上を通過すると、クロスバーすれすれの高さでゴールへと突き刺さった。スピードのあるシュートに、相手GKファン・デル・サールも一歩も動くことができなかった。
ジェナス氏は膝の故障もあり、2016年に32歳の若さで引退。現在はイギリス『BBC』などで解説者を務めている。

サッカーにおいて、1試合で3得点以上を決めることを表す「ハットトリック」。元々はクリケットで打者を三者連続アウトにすることをそう呼んでいた。(クリケットにおいて打者を連続でアウトにすることは相当難易度が高い)
サッカー選手にとって、「ハットトリック」は実力を証明する功績でもあるが、そう簡単にはお目にかかれない。この企画『HAT-TRICK HEROES』では記憶に残る「ハットトリック」を紹介していく。
今回は、元イタリア代表FWのアレッサンドロ・デル・ピエロ氏がユベントス時代に決めたハットトリックだ。

長らくユベントスでプレーし、アイコンとしても多くのサポーターに愛されたデル・ピエロ氏。“デル・ピエロ・ゾーン”なる左45度のシュートゾーンを持つなど、名実ともにレジェンドプレーヤーとして活躍した。
1998年4月1日に行われたチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)準決勝、モナコとの1stレグでは圧巻のFKを含むセットプレー3発でハットトリックを決めている。
0-0で迎えた34分、ユベントスはゴール正面やや左の約25メートルの位置でFKのチャンスを獲得する。デル・ピエロとMFエドガー・ダービッツがボールの近くに立つも、蹴ったのはデル・ピエロだった。
丁寧に蹴ったシュートは、相手の壁を超えると、強烈なカーブがかかりゴール左上へ。相手GK ファビアン・バルテズが何とか触るも、ボールはゴールネットを揺らした。
その後、一度は同点に追いつかれたユベントスだったが、45分、61分とデル・ピエロが二つのPKをどちらもゴール左に決め、ハットトリックを達成し、4-1で勝利した。
このシーズンのデル・ピエロ氏は、CL10試合で10得点を記録。ユベントスは決勝でレアル・マドリーに敗れたものの、得点王に輝いている。

サッカーファンなら誰もが一度は見たことがあるであろう歴史に残るスーパーゴール。今回の企画『Incredible Goals』(信じられないゴール)では、これまでに生まれた驚愕のゴールを紹介していく。
今回は元オランダ代表MFエドガー・ダービッツ氏がユベントス時代に決めたゴールだ。

名門アヤックスユースで育ったダービッツ氏は、1991年にトップチームデビュー。アヤックスでは、数々のタイトル制覇に大きく貢献した。
この活躍が認められ、1996年にミランへ加入するもケガやフロントとの確執から1997-98シーズン途中にユベントスへ移籍。ユベントスでは、シーズン途中加入ながらスクデット獲得に大きく貢献し信頼を勝ち取ると、2003-04シーズンにバルセロナへレンタル移籍するまで、在籍6年間で公式戦243試合に出場した。
1999年の1月26日に行われたコッパ・イタリア準々決勝、ボローニャとの2ndレグでは見事なゴールを決めている。
0-0で迎えた78分、中盤から持ち上がったダービッツは、ゴールまで25m以上の距離があったものの、そのまま利き足である左足を一閃。グングンと伸びたボールは相手GKフランチェスコ・アントニオーリに触ることすら許させず、ゴール左上隅に突き刺さった。
この強烈なシュートには、ゴールネットの裏にいた警備員も思わず顔を背けており、その威力の程が分かる圧巻のシュートだった。
