「良い段階を踏めている」 畠中槙之輔がニューカッスル戦で復帰! Jリーグ再開へ決意…「より活性化できれば」
横浜F・マリノスは3日に国立競技場で来日中のニューカッスル・ユナイテッドを対戦した。 『Jリーグインターナショナルシリーズ2024 powered by docomo』と冠されての親善試合だが、監督交代を経て再建に着手する横浜FMにとって今後の戦いぶりを見極める機会にもなる一戦というなかで、2-0の勝利。内容でも上回るシーンを数多く作り、攻守にポジティブな戦いぶりだった。 そんな横浜FMだが、戦力面では今夏新加入のジャン・クルードが上々デビューしたほか、畠中槙之輔が負傷離脱からカムバック。後半からセンターバックの一角でプレーするなかで、プレミアリーグクラブ相手に復活をアピールした。 観客の前では5月3日に行われた明治安田J1リーグ第11節のジュビロ磐田戦以来となる実戦だった28歳DFは「より公式戦に近い雰囲気とレベルのなかで45分間できたし、復帰へ良い段階を踏めているのかなと思う」と感触を語った。 肝心のプレーでは「まだまだコミュニケーションのところでうまくいかないときもあった」としつつ、「トランジションや、前からプレスにいくところだったりは表現できたシーンがいくつかあった」と一定の手応えを口にした。 自身が離脱するなか、チームでは上向かない調子から監督交代が起こり、ジョン・ハッチンソン暫定体制に。戦い方の軸はアタッキングフットボールで変わらずとも監督が代われば少なからず変わるが、スムーズに入っていけたようだ。 「元々、こういうサッカーをずっとやってきたし、何も。選手が変わっているから、そこで細かな違いだったりがあるけど、戸惑いなく、やれた」 Jリーグ再開後の過密日程だけでなく、J1リーグで11位から巻き返しを期すという部分でも、チームにとって大きい畠中の戦列復帰。畠中は「自分が出て、より活性化できれば良い」とし、チームの状態を上向かせる存在になれればと話す。 「全勝しても、優勝は難しいかもしれないけど、全勝を目標にやらないと無駄な時間になってしまうし、結果にもこだわっていきたい」 この日のジャン・クルードがセンターバックとして攻守に印象的なプレーを披露し、試合後のハッチンソン暫定監督からはポジション争いの激化を期待する発言が聞こえてくるが、畠中もそれに同調つつ、そこを生き抜く覚悟を示した。 「彼も本当に素晴らしいプレーをしていたし、(上島)拓巳も、エドゥ(エドゥアルド)も良いプレーをしていた。また競争が始まるなと」 「簡単なポジションではないけど、僕も負けていないと思っているし、自分がもっと引っ張っていかないといけない選手だとも感じる」 「誰と組むかわからないけど、マリノスをより上に押し上げていくためにはポジション争いも必要だし、良いことだと思う」 2024.08.04 01:40 Sun
