鈴木優磨が“金髪”にする理由を告白

「1回優勝したらもう1回優勝したいと思っていた」引退のGK曽ヶ端準、鹿島一筋で23年間プレーした原動力を語る

27日、2020シーズン限りで現役を引退する鹿島アントラーズのGK曽ヶ端準(41)が引退会見を実施した。 地元の鹿嶋市出身で、鹿島ユース出身の曽ヶ端は、1998年にトップチームに昇格。小笠原満男、中田浩二、本山雅志らと同期入団だった曽ヶ端だが、当初は出場機会を得られなかった。 当時から鹿島には憧れがあったと言い、実家から鹿島のバスがスタジアムに向かうチームバスを眺めていたことを明かした。 「アントラーズバスの定位置が決まっていましたし、誰が座るかも気になりますが、アントラーズのバスが実家の窓からスタジアムに向かうところを試合の日に見ていた思い出がありますし、そこにまさか乗って自分がスタジアムに向かうとはその時は思っていませんでした」 「寂しさもありますし、振り返って、そのバスに乗って試合に向かえたという嬉しさはあります」 地元で育ち、そのチームに現役の全てを捧げた曽ヶ端。引退について家族は「考える時間の中で徐々に感じ取っていたのかもしれないですけど、お疲れ様という感じでした」とコメントした。 他クラブでプレーする決断をしなかった曽ヶ端。「コーチのことを考えると、他のチームを見たりはプラスになることも多々あると思うんですが、実際にその決断に至らなかったということです」と、鹿島への愛情が強かったとコメント。「鹿島で終われる幸せ、鹿島で仕事を続けられる幸せというのが、僕の中で大きかったです」と最後までその愛を貫くことを決めての引退となった。 その鹿島の魅力については「常に優勝争いして、数多くのタイトルを獲ってきて、その中の一員で入られた幸せは味わってきましたし、違う形でチームを優勝させたいと思ったからだと思います」とコメント。常勝軍団に身を置き続けたことで感じられた優勝を常に狙うという姿勢が魅力に感じたようだ。 生え抜きで最年長の選手としてプレーしてきた曽ヶ端。引退後の来季からは、生え抜きのMF遠藤康が日本人最年長選手となる。 鹿島の伝統を受け継ぐという点に関しては「日本人選手では最年長の選手がヤス(遠藤康)になるんですが、僕が決断してからも色々話をしたりしました」と語り、「ヤスを中心にチームが1つになってやってくれると思います」と、遠藤に後を託すとコメントした。 また、「ユースから上がってきた(土居)聖真やマチ(町田浩樹)、沖(悠哉)、ヤマ(山田大樹)だったり、アントラーズを知っている選手も多くいるので、その辺は心配なく見守って、あるときは手助けしながら一緒にやっていければと思います」と語り、鹿島をユースから知っている選手たちが中心になっていくことを願った。 その常勝軍団とされる鹿島において苦労したことについては「ここまで多くのタイトルを獲ってきましたが、優勝できないシーズンもありましたし、連敗する時期もありました。勝てない時は、チームみんなで苦しみながらやってきました」とコメント。「苦労というのかわかりませんが、そのあたりです」と、やはり勝てないことがいちばんの苦労だったと語った。 また、自身の体調については「年齢を重ねていけば、ケガやギャップなどもありましたけど、現状でできる100%を出してきたつもりですし、そういう姿を見せなきゃいけないなという気持ちです」とコメント。「今シーズンで言えば、ケガで久しぶりに2〜3週間離脱した時期もありましたし、復帰してからもケガで痛みを抱えながら思うように練習できないという状況もありました。その中でできることをしっかりやったつもりです」とし、今シーズンは難しい時期を過ごしたことも明かした。 23年間、鹿島でプレーを続けられた原動力については「サッカーが好きでしたし、それは現役でいられる幸せを感じました。アントラーズというチームだからこそ、得られる優勝やモチベーション、充実感というのはあったと思います。1回優勝したらもう1回優勝したいと思ってやっていましたし、そこはすごく重要な要素だったと思います」と語り、タイトルを獲り続けること、目指し続けることが大きなモチベーションだったと語った。 2020.12.27 14:53 Sun

27日、2020シーズン限りで現役を引退する鹿島アントラーズのGK曽ヶ端準(41)が引退会見を実施した。 地元の鹿嶋市出身で、鹿島ユース出身の曽ヶ端は、1998年にトップチームに昇格。小笠原満男、中田浩二、本山雅志らと同期入団だった曽ヶ端だが、当初は出場機会を得られなかった。 その後、2001年に正守護神のGK高桑大二朗に代わってレギュラーの座を奪うと、2017年まで正守護神の座を守り、2008年2014年までの7シーズンはフル出場を果たしていた。 今シーズンは明治安田J1で1試合、YBCルヴァンカップ1試合の出場に終わっていた。 来シーズンからはアシスタントGKコーチに就任する曽ヶ端は、今季台頭したGK沖悠哉(21)や元韓国代表GKクォン・スンテ(36)、GK山田大樹(18)、そして明治大学からの来季加入内定が発表されているGK早川友基(22)について言及した。 「沖だけに限らないですが、またシーズンが変わって、今年レギュラーをとって迎える新たなシーズンという難しさも、もちろんあると思います」 「(クォン・)スンテに関してもレギュラーを奪われて、ここからまたレギュラーを取り返すという気持ちが、また自分自身を成長させてくれると思います」 「山田も今年1年目ですけどチャンスをもらって、その中で良いプレーだったり、チームの結果として勝ちが取れなかったりという中で、チャンスをもらえたこと、少なかったですが、来シーズンに向けてチャンスをモノにできるように良いライバル関係でチームでやってほしいです。このまま引き下がる選手ではないと思います」 「大学から早川選手が入ってきて、1年目のプロの難しさはあると思いますが、自分の良さを出してほしいですし、刺激しあって、GKのチームとして良い結果を残せるようにみんなで戦っていければと思います」 特に、クォン・スンテは、全北現代モータースでAFCチャンピオンズリーグ(ACL)を連覇するなど実績を誇り、加入した2017年には一時レギュラーに。しかし、曽ヶ端がポジションを取り返す結果となった。 2018年以降はポジションを明け渡すこととなったが、ここまで現役を続けられたのもクォン・スンテのおかげだったと語った。 「僕が36、37の歳の2017年に来てから、僕自身もう1度レギュラーを取り返そうとか、負けたくないという気持ちを強く持ちました」 「そこで自分自身ももう1回モチベーションであったり、自分自身の成長を感じられる日々だったので、その辺りのライバルというか、そういった選手がいた、30代後半で出会えたことは幸せですし、出会えなければここまでやれなかったと思います」 今後は、鹿島でプレーするGKを育てていく立場になる曽ヶ端。求めるGK像については「現役の時も言っていましたが、チームを勝たせられる選手を多く育成できればと思います。そのためには、簡単な技術練習というのも大事ですし、実戦も大事です」とコメントした。 ポイントについては「人それぞれ課題は違うと思いますが、どれという訳ではなく、全体のレベルアップは必要だと思いますし、手助けできればと思います」と語り、「キャッチ1つ取っても完璧はあり得ないですし、そこをどれだけ上達して完璧に近づいていくかは、現役中のみんなの課題だと思います。それはキャッチだけではなく、全てのプレーだと思います」と語り、全ての能力を高める指導をしたいとした。 23年間チームに身を捧げた曽ヶ端。その大事さについては「海外移籍というのは僕らがプロになりたての頃よりは多くなっていますし、色々なルール変更でしやすくなっていると思います」と語り、「そういう向上心は大事だと思いますが、契約しているチームに対する愛情であったり、そのチームのためにプレーするということは僕自身すごく大事だと思います」とコメント。「そういうところも僕自身は在籍する選手には伝えていきたいと思いますし、そういう選手が数多く出てきてくれることを願っています」と語り、自身のように鹿島にキャリアを捧げる選手が出て欲しいと語った。 また、地元の子供たちに向けても「僕自身、地元茨城、鹿島というプロチームに入れた幸せを感じています」とし、「身近に素晴らしいチームがあるので、コロナで難しい状況はありますが、スタジアムに来て、身近に感じてモチベーションにしてサッカーをしてもらいたいと思います」と語り、自身が歩んだ道をこれからの子供たちに託したいと語った。 2020.12.27 16:12 Sun
