元日本代表DF丹羽大輝(36)が、セスタオ・リーベルとの契約延長を発表した。
ガンバ大阪の下部組織で育った丹羽は、徳島ヴォルティス、大宮アルディージャ、アビスパ福岡へのレンタル移籍を経験。その後、G大阪でディフェンスを支える主軸となる。
2017年7月にはサンフレッチェ広島へと完全移籍。1年で退団すると、2018年7月にFC東京へと完全移籍。2021年2月にFC東京も退団していた。
その丹羽は、2021年5月にセグンダ・ディビシオンRFEF(スペイン4部)のセスタオ・リーベルに加入。2021-22シーズンはリーグ戦26試合に出場するなど活躍を見せていた。
35歳での海外挑戦となった丹羽は、チームとの契約延長を報告。新シーズンもスペインで戦うこととなった。
