ユベントスを解任されたチアゴ・モッタ監督について、同業者は同情しているようだ。

モッタ監督は今シーズンからユベントスの指揮官に就任。クラブを新たなステージに導く若手指揮官として、非常に大きな期待が寄せられていた。

しかし、チームは開幕から黒星こそないものの勝ち切れない試合が多く、スクデット争いに絡むまでには至らず。直近ではチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)でプレーオフ敗退、セリエAで2試合連続大敗を喫したことから、モッタ監督への手腕には疑問の目が向けられていた。
加えて、チームの人心掌握にも苦戦と報じられたモッタ監督。最終的にはクラブ上層部からの支持も失い、23日に解任が発表されることとなった。

1年経たず解任の憂き目に遭ったモッタ監督について、セリエAの同業者は擁護。イタリア『トゥットメルカート』によると、セリエA最優秀監督に贈られるパンキーナ・ドーロの表彰式に出席していたアタランタのジャン・ピエロ・ガスペリーニ監督は、モッタ監督の境遇に同情すると語っている。
「私はすべての監督、特に困難な時期を過ごしている監督のことを考える。我々は、そのようなことが起こったとき、いつもプロフェッショナルな対応ができるわけではない。スタッフに対して、メディアが集中攻撃を仕掛るのはよくあることだ。そして私はそれが好きではない。私は彼らに同情する。そして現時点では、特にチアゴ・モッタについて言いたい」

また、同式典にてインテルのシモーネ・インザーギ監督もモッタ監督に同情。それでも、早い段階で指揮官に復帰するだろうと期待を示している。

「彼は私が尊敬する仲間だ。我々は何度も対戦してきた関係でもある。残念ながら、そのようなことが起こってしまい、残念だよ。私は彼を監督として、人として尊敬している。彼はすぐ戻ってくるだろう。とても優秀な人だからね」

ボローニャ加入のサーレマーケルス、ミランを去った理由は「マルディーニが去り、いくつかの変化があった」

1チームに1人欲しかった“万能型サイドバック”、ジャンルカ・ザンブロッタ

「王子様だ」「なんてハンサム」“サッカー界屈指のイケメン”マルキジオ、渋さも増した山中でのモデル姿に絶賛の嵐「愛してる!」
