名古屋グランパスは22日、FWマテウス・カストロ(30)の加入を発表した。背番号「10」をつける。

マテウスは母国ブラジルでキャリアをスタートさせ、2014年の大宮アルディージャ(現・RB大宮アルディージャ)入りで来日。2019年から名古屋に移り、同年夏に横浜F・マリノスへレンタル移籍した。

その横浜FMでJ1リーグ優勝を経験し、翌年から名古屋に復帰。切れ味鋭いドリブルとパワフルな左足でチームの中心となり、2021年のルヴァンカップ優勝に大きく貢献した。

その後、2023年夏にサウジ・プロ・リーグのアル・タアーウンFCへ。23日から名古屋に合流するというなか、クラブ公式サイトで1年半ぶりの復帰決定を喜び、抱負を続ける。

「めっちゃチャラい」茶髪にイヤリング…田中隼磨が20年前の“チャラい”お宝写真公開、先輩からはツッコミ「触れただけでキレそうだな」
