7月1日に5年間のプレーを終えてヴィッセル神戸を退団した元スペイン代表MFアンドレス・イニエスタ(39)。新天地でのプレーを目指し、この夏もトレーニングを続けていた。

バルセロナのトレーニング施設であるシウタ・エスポルティバ・ジョアン・ガンペールでハードなトレーニング姿をSNSに投稿。バルセロナと神戸でチームメイトだったボージャン・クルキッチとも再会した姿が話題となっていた。

新天地にはメジャーリーグ・サッカー(MLS)のインテル・マイアミが浮上し、盟友のアルゼンチン代表FWリオネル・メッシや元スペイン代表MFセルヒオ・ブスケッツらとの再会も期待されたが、新天地はUAEに決定。エミレーツ・クラブに加入すると報じられていた。

そんな中、イニエスタは自身のSNSでスペインを出発する姿を投稿。家族と共に移動する様子をアップした中、UAE『Sharjah Sports TV』がイニエスタの到着を報道。大歓迎を受けている様子を伝えた。

イニエスタはドバイ国際空港に到着。家族揃って大きな歓迎を受け、首からはエミレーツ・クラブのマフラーを下げている。

イニエスタや子供たちからも笑顔が見えており、UAEの地で再び沸かせるプレーを見せてくれるのか注目だ。

イニエスタがクラブ買収へ? バルサ&神戸で共にプレーしたボージャンと共にデンマーク2部クラブに3.3億円を投資か…今季は2部で最下位
