25日に開幕した中国スーパーリーグで、山東魯能のベルギー代表MFマルアン・フェライニがハットトリックの活躍を披露した。
新型コロナウイルスの影響で5カ月遅れの開幕となった中国スーパーリーグ。25日に行われたその初戦では王者・広州恒大が上海申花を2-0で下した中、翌26日に山東魯能は大連プロフェッショナルと対戦した。
57分にFWサロモン・ロンドンのゴールで先制を許した山東魯能だが、79分にボックス右から上がったクロスをフェライニが頭で合わせ同点に追いつく。
その4分後、今度は右CKをフェライニが再び頭で合わせて逆転に成功。さらにその3分後にもCKから三度フェライニがヘディングシュートを突き刺し、ハットトリックを達成。全てが頭でのゴールとなった。
その後、後半アディショナルタイムに1点返されるものの、3-2で山東魯能が勝利。

元ベルギー代表MFマルアン・フェライニ(36)が3日、現役引退を発表した。
フェライニは2008年にスタンダール・リエージュからエバートンへと完全移籍し、194cmの長身を誇る大型セントラルハーフとしてプレミアリーグで活躍。2013年にはマンチェスター・ユナイテッドへのステップアップを果たした。
