スペイン『マルカ』が『TNT Sports』を情報源に取り上げたところによると、ヴィッセル神戸に所属する元スペイン代表MFアンドレス・イニエスタ(35)に対して、アルゼンチンのエストゥディアンテスが関心を示しているという。

長らくバルセロナの主軸を担い、2018年5月から神戸に活躍の場を移したイニエスタ。大きな注目を浴びる中で、今シーズンも明治安田生命J1リーグ23試合6ゴール6アシストの成績を収め、日本でも異彩を放っている。そのイニエスタは、神戸との現行契約が2020年で失効する模様。その契約が満了次第、フリーでの獲得を目論んでいるというエストゥディアンテスが先んじて調査を検討しているようだ。

なお、そのエストゥディアンテスは元アルゼンチン代表DFのガブリエル・ミリート氏が監督を務め、先月24日に元アルゼンチン代表MFハビエル・マスチェラーノが加入。イニエスタにとって、バルセロナ時代の戦友である両者の存在がアルゼンチン行きを後押しするものになる可能性もあるとのことだ。

来日5年‥家族も2人増えたイニエスタの妻が改めて心境を綴る「この冒険を一緒に生き続けることは光栄です!」
