決勝トーナメント1回戦デンマーク戦に続いて、PK戦で次戦へと勝ち進んだクロアチア。勝負を決める5人目のPKキッカーを務めたのは、デンマーク戦に続いてラキティッチだった。バルセロナMFは大きな重圧がかかる状況をものともせず、冷静にシュートを決め切っている。

「史上最悪」「恥ずかしい」伝統の市松模様が史上最大サイズになったクロアチアの新ユニフォームには酷評の嵐「これ以上酷いものは見たことがない」

W杯優勝のアルゼンチンが違反行為でFIFAから処分の可能性、フェアプレー違反や不正行為が問題視…その他、クロアチア、セルビア、エクアドル、メキシコも処分

クロアチアの名将ブラジェビッチ氏が87歳で逝去…1998年W杯で3位に導く
クロアチアの伝説的な指揮官であるミロスラフ・ブラジェビッチ氏(享年87)が逝去した。 クロアチアサッカー連盟(HNS)は8日、ブラジェビッチ氏が逝去したことを明かした。 「今日、フットボールファミリー全体が『全ての監督の監督』を失った」と、伝説的な指揮官の逝去を伝えた。 なお、長らくガンを患っていたブラジェビッチ氏は、母国のザグレブで息を引き取ったという。 同氏の訃報を受け、クロアチア代表を指揮するズラトコ・ダリッチ監督は、偉大なる先達を追悼している。 「フットボールの父…。私が監督としてのキャリアで達成したすべてのことへの真のインスピレーションを与えてくれました」 「チロは比類のないモチベーターであり、スピーカーであり、卓越したスタイルとより大きな魂を持った男であり、それが私たち全員が彼を愛し、尊敬している理由です」 1935年2月10日に生まれたブラジェビッチ氏は、隣国のボスニアにある故郷のトラヴニクで選手としてのキャリアをスタート。 その後、1960年代初めに選手キャリア晩年を過ごしたスイスで監督キャリアをスタートし、1979年に旧ユーゴスラビアの一部であったクロアチアに移った。クロアチアでは、リエカ、ディナモ・ザグレブの監督を歴任し、ディナモを24年ぶりのユーゴスラビア王者に導いた。 1994年から2000年にかけてはクロアチア代表の指揮官に就任し、ユーロ1996のベスト8進出。1998年のフランス・ワールドカップでは初出場での3位入賞に導いた。 以降はイラン代表やボスニア・ヘルツェゴビナ代表、母国や第二の故郷とも言えるスイスのクラブや中国の上海申花などの指揮官を歴任した。 2023.02.08 23:07 Wed
