▽イベントの冒頭には、ゲストとして日本代表に選出されているドルトムントのMF香川真司が登場。香川は、初戦のコロンビア代表戦を約1カ月後に控え、前回大会の心境を振り返るとともに、初戦のコロンビア戦に向けた意気込みを口にした。
「ブラジルで悔しい思いをしました。ただ、実際あれが自分たちの実力でした。その実力を高めるために、この4年間、1人1人が厳しい環境で厳しい戦いをしてきました」

「まさに死闘ってカンジ」歴史に残るバーレーンとの4-3の激闘!2004年大会プレイバックに反響「このゴールで中澤佑二に惚れた」

「なんとか取り戻したい」9月以来の日本代表活動の前田大然、高校の先輩・渡辺剛との初活動は「2人で活躍したい」
アジアカップの開幕が近づく中で、日本代表FW前田大然(セルティック)が自身の状態について言及した。 12日に開幕を迎えるアジアカップ2023。カタールで開催される中で日本代表は調整を続けている。 ケガの影響もあり9月以降の日本代表活動に参加できなかったが、復帰してアジアカップで合流。9日に行われたヨルダン代表とのトレーニングマッチでもゴールを記録していた。 前田は11日のトレーニング後に取材に応じ、ヨルダン戦についてコメント。「個人というかチームとして良い状態だと思います。ここ数回は辞退していたので、なんとか取り戻したいとやっていて、練習試合でしたけどしっかりゴールできて良かったです」と、ゴールを喜んだ。 セルティックでもリーグ戦5試合欠場したもの、12月中旬に復帰。5試合を戦った中、合流直前のセント・ミレン戦では10月以来のゴールを記録した。 「復帰してチームでも2、3試合やりましたし、こっちに来る前にゴールもできていたので、問題ないです」と状態は問題ないと語った前田。11日のトレーニングは途中で離脱したが「コンディションを上げたいという部分もありましたが、明日の練習から全然大丈夫なので問題ないです」と、大きな問題ではないとした。 開幕は12日だが、日本の初戦はベトナム代表と14日に行われる。カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)のアジア予選でも戦ったベトナム。格下ではあるが、簡単にも勝たせてもらえない相手だ。 前田は「練習前にミーティングしましたけど、ベトナムとは1点差のゲームが多くて、難しい試合になることは間違い無いです」とコメント。「ただ、前と比べるとチームは大きく進化しているので、自分たちのサッカーをすれば良い試合ができていると思います」と、今の日本代表の戦いができれば問題はないと語った。 一方で、トレーニングマッチのヨルダン戦ではカウンターから失点。前田は失点はない方が良いとしながらも、本大会前に確認できたことは良かったとした。 「失点してきていなかった中での失点ですが、試合をやっていればどうしてもしてしまいますし、大会前にチームとして経験できたこと、そういうこともあるということが分かったのはこれから先やっていく上で良かったかなと。失点は無い方がもちろんいいので、減らしていけば良いと思います」 今回の日本代表には、山梨学院大学附属高校の1つ先輩であるDF渡辺剛(ヘント)が招集されている。高校の先輩と代表では初の活動になるが、「一緒にやりたいというのは常にあったので、今回初めてそういう機会が得られたので、母校を盛り上げるように2人で活躍したいです」とコメント。ついに実現したことを喜んだ。 2024.01.11 23:57 Thu

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン
