自宅は海上に? チェルシーを手放してもうすぐ3年…ロシア人実業家アブラモビッチ氏の近況は

チェルシーのスタジアム計画に動き…先日に新スタジアム建設報道もブリッジ残留へ?
チェルシーは、今後もスタンフォード・ブリッジに残留する可能性があるようだ。イギリス『サン』が報じている。 1877年に開場されたスタンフォード・ブリッジは1905年からチェルシーの本拠地として100年以上に渡って使用されている。1998年に改修工事が行われたものの、老朽化や4万2000人と言われる収容人数の問題もあって、近年では大幅な収容人数を目的とした拡張工事、あるいは新スタジアム移転の計画が話し合われてきた。 そんななか、先日にはスタンフォード・ブリッジ近郊のアールズコートに6万人収容の新スタジアムを建設する可能性が報じられていた。 ただ、スタンフォード・ブリッジ拡張案とアールズコートでの新スタジアム建設案を巡っては、先月に“内紛”が報じられたベフダド・エグバリ氏とトッド・ベーリー氏の共同オーナー2人の間で意見が真っ向からぶつかり合っているという。 エグバリ氏はブリッジに留まるために15億ポンド(約2878億円)の改修案を支持。この計画には5万5000人の収容増に、ウエストスタンドの近代化、近隣の鉄道線路上にコンクリートデッキを建設、クラブが退役軍人慈善団体ストールから購入した土地の利用なども含まれているという。 スタンフォード・ブリッジの土地に新スタジアムを建設する場合、少なくとも5年の期間を必要とするのに対して、この拡張案では2年程度で工事が完了する見込みだという。 これに対して、ベーリー氏はアールズコートに新スタジアムを建設する案を支持している模様。 『サン』は関係者筋からの情報として、「アールズコートは実現不可能だという認識が高まっており、ベーリーは間もなくクラブを去る可能性がある」、「トッド・ベーリーが退任した場合、クラブはスタンフォード・ブリッジに残る計画を進め、5万5000人収容のスタジアムの解決策に向けて取り組むとみられる」と現時点ではブリッジ残留の可能性が高く、ベーリー氏がクラブを離れる可能性が高いとの見解を示している。 2024.10.13 23:51 Sun

リーズの正GKメリエが退団を希望、ユナイテッドら強豪3クラブが関心か
