▽セルティックのアカデミーに所属する13歳の神童MFカラモコ・デンベレが、U-15イングランド代表デビューを飾った。イギリス『スカイ・スポーツ』が伝えている。

▽先日、13歳ながら飛び級でセルティックのU-20チームデビューを飾ったデンベレは、卓越したドリブルや攻撃センスを武器に、新たなメッシの後継者と称されるサッカー界注目のローティーンの1人だ。

▽コートジボワール人の両親の下でロンドンで生まれたデンベレは、幼少期にスコットランドに移住し、セルティックのアカデミーで研鑽を積んでいる。そのため、出身地のイングランド、両親の母国コートジボワール、在住しているスコットランドの3カ国の代表でのプレー資格がある。

▽今年10月には飛び級でU-16スコットランド代表デビューを飾ったデンベレだったが、将来のスーパースター候補を虎視眈々と狙うイングランドサッカー協会(FA)は、すぐさま両親と同選手の説得に動き、U-15イングランド代表でのプレーを実現させた。

▽19日に行われたU-15トルコ代表戦でU-15イングランド代表デビューを飾ったデンベレは、自身の『インスタグラム』を通じてイングランドデビューの感想を以下のように語っている。

「イングランドで良い経験ができたよ。トルコ相手に5-3で勝利できたし、僕自身1アシストを記録し、とてもうまくプレーできた」

▽デンベレが将来どんなプレーヤーになるかは、現時点で不明だが、将来のスーパースター候補をA代表でプレーさせるため、今後もイングランド、スコットランド、コートジボワールの間で熾烈な争奪戦が続くはずだ。

イングランド代表のユニフォームが変? ファンが気づいた異変はベテランキットマンのまさかのミス…「間違ってしまった」
