ユベントスは1日、セリエA第14節でモンツァとのアウェイ戦に臨み、2-1で競り勝った。

前節インテルとのイタリア・ダービーを引き分けた2位ユベントス(勝ち点30)は、肋骨が万全ではないロカテッリに代わってニコルッシが引き続き中盤アンカーで先発となった。

昨季シーズンダブルを食らった9位モンツァ(勝ち点18)に対し、キエーザとヴラホビッチの2トップで臨んだユベントスは9分にPKを獲得。ロングボールに抜け出したカンビアーゾがボックス内でキリアコプーロスに倒された。しかしキッカーのヴラホビッチはシュートを2度GKディ・グレゴリオに止められ、先制とはならない。

それでも直後のCKから先制する。ニコルッシの右CKをラビオがヘッドで叩き込んだ。先制後はモンツァにポゼッションを譲り自陣にユベントスが引いて対応する。

35分にはラビオのミドルシュートでGKを強襲して牽制した中、1点のリードで前半を終えた。

迎えた後半も慎重に試合を進めたユベントスは徐々に押し込まれる展開に。最終ラインで凌ぐ中、70分に負傷明けのダニーロをニコルッシに代えて中盤アンカーに投入した。

5バックとして守り倒しにかかったユベントスだったが、追加タイム2分に追いつかれる。右サイドからV・カルボーニに上げられたインスウィングクロスがそのままゴールに吸い込まれた。

痛恨の被弾かと思われたユベントスだったが、2分後に勝ち越し弾。ラビオが右サイドを突破した流れから最後はゴール前に上がっていたガッティがねじ込んだ。

これが決勝点となってユベントスが曲者モンツァを退け、暫定首位に浮上している。
