国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)は21日、最新のFIFAランキングを発表した。
9月はインターナショナル・マッチウィークがあり、欧州ではユーロ予選が行われ、南米では2026年の北中米ワールドカップ(W杯)に向けた予選がスタート。親善試合を含めて159試合が行われた。
日本代表は欧州遠征を行い、ドイツ代表、トルコ代表を相手に4ゴールずつを奪っての連勝。その結果、20位から1つ上がり19位に浮上。10位台になったのは、2012年1月以来の出来事となった。
また、1位はカタールW杯王者であり、南米予選も連勝スタートとなったアルゼンチン代表が守ることに。トップ10はポルトガル代表が9位から8位に、8位のイタリア代表が9位に入れ替わったのみ。その他も大きな変動はなかった。

「まさに死闘ってカンジ」歴史に残るバーレーンとの4-3の激闘!2004年大会プレイバックに反響「このゴールで中澤佑二に惚れた」

BE:FIRSTがアンバサダー就任の「FILA」、かつては中田英寿氏も同ブランドのスパイクを着用

「爽やか〜」「かっこよすぎ」田中碧のニューヘアーが大絶賛、大先輩も「髪型グーやん」
