WEリーグは2日、来季開催される2023-24 WEリーグカップのオープンドローを実施。グループステージ組み合わせが決定した。
来季のリーグ戦開幕に先立って8月下旬に開催される2023-24 WEリーグカップ。既存のWEリーグ所属11クラブに加え、来季からWEリーグ参加が決定しているセレッソ大阪堺レディースを加えた全12チームが参加する。
グループステージでは12チームがA、Bの各組6チームに分かれて1回戦総当たりのリーグ戦を実施。それぞれの首位チームが決勝戦に進出する。
第1回大会となった今年度は2022年10月1日に決勝が行われ、三菱重工浦和レッズレディースがPK戦の末に日テレ・東京ヴェルディベレーザを下し、初代カップ戦女王の座についている。
抽選の結果、連覇を狙う浦和LはグループAに。新勢力のC大阪堺らと同居した。

今回認定された2名は、いずれも2024年度に受講。サンフレッチェ広島のヘッドコーチを務める迫井深也氏と三菱重工浦和レッズレディースのスポーツダイレクター(SD)を務める工藤輝央氏が認定された。

広島の迫井深也HCと浦和Lの工藤輝央SDがProライセンス認定
