ユベントスは24日、チアゴ・モッタ監督(42)の解任を発表。新監督にクラブOBでもあるイゴール・トゥドール氏(46)の就任を発表した。
モッタ監督は、現役時代はバルセロナやアトレティコ・マドリー、ジェノア、インテル、パリ・サンジェルマン(PSG)でもプレー。引退後は、ジェノア、スペツィア、ボローニャで指揮を執り、今シーズンからユベントスの監督に就任した。
ここまで42試合を指揮し、18勝16分け8敗の成績。セリエAでは13勝13分け3敗で5位と、クラブに期待された結果は全く残せず、負けは3試合と少ないものの煮え切らない結果となり、解任が噂され続けた結果、クラブは決断した。
新たに就任するトゥドール新監督は、現役時代にユベントスでプレー。引退後はハイドゥク・スプリトやガラタサライ、ウディネーゼなどで指揮を執ると、2020年8月から2021年5月までの1シーズンに渡りアンドレア・ピルロ監督のアシスタントコーチをユベントスで務めていた。
その後、エラス・ヴェローナ、マルセイユ、ラツィオを指揮。昨シーズン途中から指揮し、日本代表MF鎌田大地(クリスタル・パレス)を復活させたことでも知られたが、クラブとの強化の方向性の違いで3カ月で退任し、フリーの状態だった。

ガッティがユベントスと2030年までの長期契約に合意か…年俸は現在の倍の5億円程度に

ニューカッスルからレンタル中のケリーがユベントスに完全移籍へ!出場基準を満たし買い取り義務が発動
