「どうやって決めたかわからない」、C・ロナウドが12年前のポルト戦で決めた弾丸シュートは今見ても驚愕

チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)ラウンド16・1stレグ、ポルトvsユベントスが、17日29:00からポルトの本拠地エスタディオ・ド・ドラゴンで行われる。

スポルティング・リスボン出身のFWクリスティアーノ・ロナウドが、ポルトガルへ凱旋することとなるが、ポルトとはスポルティング・リスボン時代に1回、マンチェスター・ユナイテッド時代に4回対戦している。

その最後の試合である2009年の4月15日に行われたポルトvsユナイテッドのCL準々決勝2ndレグでは、その年の最も優れたゴールに贈られる賞である「プスカシュ賞」を獲得したスーパーゴールを決めていた。

ホームで行われた1stレグを2-2で終え、ポルトにアウェイゴールを2点奪われる不利な状態でこの一戦を迎えたユナイテッドだったが、C・ロナウドがいきなり見せる。

6分、ゴールから約37メートルの位置でアンデルソンからパスを受けたC・ロナウドは、相手のマークが甘いとみるや、シュート体勢に入る。そして、そのまま迷いなく右足を振り抜くと、ボールは一直線にゴールへ。弾丸ライナー、レーザービームのように真っ直ぐにゴールネットへと向かったボールは、ゴール左隅へ突き刺さる。卓越したキック力、見事なシュート精度、常人離れした思い切りの良さが、見るもの全てを唖然とさせるゴールを生んだ。

C・ロナウド本人も「どうやって決めたかわからない」と後に語ったゴールだが、ポルト戦を間近に控えたこのタイミングで、『ESPN』の公式ツイッターがこのゴールの動画を再投稿。サポーターからも「ゴールに刺さってる」「伸びがすごい」「かっこよすぎる」と改めてそのゴールの凄さに驚く声が多く挙がっている。

ユベントスとポルトはこれまで4度対戦し、ユベントスから見て3勝1分け。直近では2016-17シーズンのラウンド16で激突し、ユベントスが2戦共に勝利してベスト8入りを決めている。
