LASKリンツのFW中村敬斗が、新型コロナウイルス(COVID-19)に感染したようだ。オーストリア『スカイ・スポーツ』が伝えた。2019年7月にG大阪からトゥベンテへとレンタル移籍し、ヨーロッパでのキャリアをスタートさせた中村。その後、シント=トロイデン、そしてLASKのセカンドチームであるFCパッシングへのレンタル移籍を経て、今シーズンから正式にファーストチームに所属した。
その中村は、今シーズンのオーストリア・ブンデスリーガで5試合に出場。メンバー外になることも多かった中、4日に行われたヨーロッパ・カンファレンスリーグ(ECL)のアラシュケルト戦でECL初出場。左ウイングでフル出場すると2ゴールを決めて2-0の勝利に貢献。LASK加入後初ゴールを決めるとともに、マン・オブ・ザ・マッチにも選出されていた。
その中村に対しては、アンドレアス・ウィーランド監督も「重要なことは、ここ数週間にわたり批判の主なポイントであったストライカーがゴールを決めたことだ」と、中村のゴールを喜んできたが、よくないニュースが飛び込んできた。
『スカイ・スポーツ』によると、ケガ人が多く出ているLASKにおいて、中村が新型コロナウイルスの検査で陽性判定を示したとのこと。トーマス・ゴイギンガーと共に、陽性となったとクラブが発表したようだ。
今シーズンは開幕から絶不調で、13試合を終えて勝ち点10の最下位。追い討ちをかける痛手となってしまった。
なお、中村のECLでのゴールは、クラブにとってUEFAの大会で10試合連続ゴールの新記録となっており、第4節のベストシーン候補にノミネート。トッテナムの韓国代表FWソン・フンミンのゴールらとともに4つの候補に残っている。

カタカナのデザイン入り!スタッド・ランスがDJとコラボした限定ユニフォームを発表「すごいの来た」「着たらどんな感じだろう」
