日本サッカー協会(JFA)の公式SNSが日本代表選手たちのスーツ姿を投稿し、話題となっている。
今月の代表ウィークでは国内で2つの国際親善試合に臨む日本。13日のMIZUHO BLUE DREAM MATCH 2023でカナダ代表戦に臨み、17日のキリンチャレンジカップ2023でチュニジア代表と対戦する。
千葉で合宿を行っていた日本代表は、13日の試合に向けて12日に新潟へと移動。日本代表のオフィシャルスーツを提供しているダンヒル(dunhill) のオフィシャルスーツ『2023 SAMURAI BLUE COLLECTION』を着用し、新幹線で移動した。
JFAの公式SNSは、移動時の選手たちの姿をアップ。多くの選手たちの写真がアップされているが、その中でも一際注目を集めているのが、DF谷口彰悟(アル・ラーヤン)だ。
ファンからは「田中碧は就活中の大学生みたい。そして谷口はエース営業マンの風格」、「谷口この角度から取られてこの完成度ってなにごと?!」、「しょごさんはいつでもスタイリッシュにスーツを着こなす。素敵」、「谷口スーツ姿カッコ良すぎる」と谷口の着こなしとスーツ姿に絶賛の声があがっている。
また、JFAは谷口の写真とともに、MF旗手怜央(セルティック)、MF守田英正(スポルティングCP)、MF田中碧(デュッセルドルフ)、DF板倉滉(ボルシアMG)の写真も投稿。谷口を含む全員が川崎フロンターレ出身の選手ということもあり、「フロ上がり写真特集ありがとうございます」、「フロンターレ出身選手ハッピーセット」といった声もあがっていた。
11月には2026年の北中米ワールドカップ(W杯)のアジア2次予選兼AFCアジアカップサウジアラビア2027予選が行われるため、貴重な親善試合となるこの2試合。日本代表は勝利を掴めるか。

アジアカップ2023を戦っている日本代表。14日に行われた初戦のベトナム代表戦の裏側が公開された。
日本にとって3大会ぶり5度目の優勝を目指す今大会。初戦のベトナム戦では4-2の勝利を収めたものの、前半には一時逆転を許すなど危うい展開となった。
日本サッカー協会(JFA)の公式YouTubeチャンネルでは、16日に日本代表の裏側を伝える「Team Cam」が更新。ベトナム戦の選手たちの様子が明らかになっている。
ファンの注目を集めているのはハーフタイムのシーン。3-2とリードして前半を終えたとはいえ、2失点を喫する展開に、選手たちの間では厳しい声や後半への修正を求める声が飛び交う。
声を出すのは試合に出ていた選手だけでなく、ベトナム戦を欠場していたMF三笘薫やDF冨安健洋も同様だった。
特に、三笘はMF守田英正に「ヒデくん、下がりすぎ」とアドバイスを送ると、見送りの際には先頭に立って後半に出場する選手たちをハイタッチをかわし、MF南野拓実には「1点リード、相手出てくる」と一言かけていた。
普段はクールな印象が強い三笘だが、チームの勝利に貢献しようとできることに奔走する姿には、ファンも注目。SNS上では「こっちまで熱くなる」、「三笘あんな風に鼓舞するとは思わなかった」、「とても刺さる」、「本当に熱い」、「三笘ってクールそうに見えて1番熱いね」といったコメントが寄せられている。
ケガの影響でプレーできていない中でも、チームを引っ張る姿勢を見せた三笘。16日のトレーニングでは部分的に合流しており、復帰に近づいている。

日本代表の仲良しコンビが、オフを満喫したようだ。
日本代表は6月の2026年北中米ワールドカップ(W杯)アジア2次予選で、ミャンマー代表、シリア代表相手に圧倒して勝利。6連勝、24得点無失点で最終予選行きに花を添えた。
ヨーロッパで戦う選手が多い中、選手たちは新シーズンに向けて束の間のオフを過ごすことに。そんな中、MF久保建英(レアル・ソシエダ)とDF菅原由勢(AZ)がオフを楽しんだ様子をアップした。
2人はそれぞれインスタグラムを更新。沖縄を訪れ、弾丸で釣りを楽しんだことを報告。アクシデントもありながら、マグロとカツオを釣り上げたことを報告した。
どうやら予定していた船が悪天候でキャンセル。それでも諦めない2人は、予定を変更して朝4時起きで釣りにチャレンジし、見事にマグロとカツオを釣り上げたという。
2人は釣った魚を笑顔で披露するなど楽しんだ様子をアップした一方で、菅原によれば久保は船酔いに襲われたという。
「久保さんはあれだけ意気込んで、船酔いした事ない!と言った1時間後に船酔いを発症し、強がって釣りを始めるも20分で疲れたからと嘘をついてまた船酔いに負けながらもしっかりマグロもカツオも釣ってました。船酔いで顔嬉しくなさそうに見えるけど」
どうやら久保は、8回も嘔吐したとのこと。険しい表情を見せつつも、楽しんだ久保は「僕が休んでる時の菅原くんは今までで一番嬉しそうでした。そして僕の代わりに魚達に話しかけてました」とし、「二人とも釣りにどハマりしたので、また行きたいです! 第二回追加メンバー募集中!」と呼びかけていた。
これには日本代表MF守田英正(スポルティングCP)やDF瀬古歩夢(グラスホッパー)が参加意思を表明。今度は新たなメンバーも加わる可能性があるようだ。
ファンは「最高すぎる」、「このコンビ良いわ」、「楽しそうで良い」、「可愛い一面あるな」、「船苦手なの意外すぎる」、「おもろすぎる笑」とコメント。なんでもそつなくこなすタイプに見える久保が船が苦手という事実は驚きを与えたようだ。

スポルティングCPは5日、アンデルレヒトからベルギー代表DFゼノ・デバスト(20)を獲得したと発表した。
期間は2029年6月までの5年契約。8000万ユーロ(約139億3000万円)の契約解除条項が盛り込まれている。
デバストはアンデルレヒトにU-8チームから在籍し、17歳時の2021年5月にファーストチームデビュー。2022-23シーズンにはセンターバックのレギュラーに定着し、公式戦49試合でプレーした。
2023-24シーズンも公式戦40試合に出場。今夏はベルギー代表の一員としてユーロ2024に参戦し、グループEの第1節スロバキア代表戦、第2節ルーマニア代表戦に出場。第3節のウクライナ代表戦と敗れたラウンド16のフランス代表戦では出番がなかった。
初の国外挑戦の場として、日本代表MF守田英正も所属するプリメイラ・リーガ王者のスポルティングを選択。チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)でのプレーも期待されるデバストは、クラブを通じて加入の喜びを語っている。

20日、2026年北中米ワールドカップ(W杯)アジア最終予選第7節のバーレーン代表戦に臨む日本代表のスターティングメンバーが発表された。
ここまで6試合を戦い、5勝1分けの無敗で首位を独走している日本。バーレーンに勝利すれば8大会連続8度目のW杯出場が決定。3試合を残しての決定は史上最速となる。
ホームでの一戦となるバーレーン戦は順当に主力組がスタメンに並ぶことに。GKは鈴木彩艶、3バックは板倉滉、瀬古歩夢、伊藤洋輝が並んだ。
ボランチは遠藤航と守田英正となり、右ウイングバックに堂安律、左に三笘薫が入り、シャドーは久保建英と南野拓実。1トップは上田綺世となった。
