シャルケ退団が決まった日本代表DF吉田麻也が自身のSNSを更新。オフショットを公開した。
昨シーズン限りでサンプドリアを退団し、今シーズンから1年間の延長オプション付きの1年契約でシャルケに加入した吉田。ボルシアMGへ移籍した日本代表DF板倉滉の後釜として昇格組の最終ラインを支え、公式戦31試合に出場した。
ただ、チームはブンデスリーガ17位でシーズンを終了。1年での2部逆戻りが決まり、吉田の契約延長オプションも行使されず退団することが決まった。
厳しいシーズンを終えた吉田は9日に自身のSNSを更新。イタリアのシチリア島で最も有名な観光地タオルミーナを家族で訪れたことを明かし、オフショットを披露した。
吉田は、愛娘との海水浴や市場での買い物姿を披露。慣れ親しんだイタリアでリラックスしたのか、「Ciao Siciliaご飯が美味しすぎて1シーズン分以上グルテン摂取した」とオフを満喫したようだ。
吉田の父の顔には、ファンも「いい選手である前にいいパパである事が1番大事ですもんね」、「お嬢さんとリラックス、ステキですね」、「可愛い娘さん 素敵な時間ですね」、「イタリア滞在中に食べる物を制限するなんて無理です!」と反応している。
例年では日本代表に選ばれることが多い6月だが、今回の森保ジャパンでは選外となっている吉田。リフレッシュの後、新天地について熟考するのだろうか。

デュッセルドルフの日本代表MF田中碧は、5年間同じ靴下を履いているようだ。それが、田中にとってのラッキーアイテムだという。ドイツ『ビルト』が伝えた。
デュッセルドルフで2年目を迎える田中。1年目は苦労することもあった中、2年目もレギュラーとしてプレー。ここまで2.ブンデスリーガで11試合に出場し1ゴール1アシストを記録している。
その田中は、1日に行われた2.ブンデスリーガ第10節のアルミニア・ビーレフェルト戦で今シーズン初ゴールを記録していた。
カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)への出場も期待される中、『ビルト』が意外なところに注目した。それは、田中が履いている靴下だ。
『ビルト』は、田中がメディアの対応を行っている際、スパイクを脱いでいる状態で靴下姿で話をしているとのこと。ただ、その靴下は色褪せ、穴も空いているという。
田中に対し、『ビルト』は靴下について質問。日本から5年も履き続けているものであり、ラッキーアイテムであると明かした。
「これは僕の“幸運の靴下”です。5年前に日本でプロになってから、練習や試合のたびにこの靴下を履いています。もちろん、穴はいくつかありますけど、できるだけ長く履きたいです」
これまでも、川崎フロンターレ時代の優勝や日本代表のカタールW杯アジア最終予選でゴールを決めた際も履いていたと思われ、デュッセルドルフにも幸運をもたらすものだと期待されている。
「やっと今シーズン初ゴールを決められて、とても嬉しかったです。その理由は、ここでの代表チームで上手くプレーができていなかったからです。余計にモチベーションが上がりました」
「でも、もっと早く決めるべきでしたし、その試合でも3つのチャンスがあったので、少なくとも2ゴールは決めるべきでした」
田中が履き続ける幸運の靴下。デュッセルドルフ、そして日本代表にも幸運をもたらせてくれるだろうか。

バイエルンのフランス代表MFマイケル・オリーズのスパイク選びが注目を集めている。
今夏クリスタル・パレスからバイエルンへ移籍したオリーズ。ブンデスリーガやチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)に初挑戦のシーズンとなっているが、ここまで公式戦12試合で7ゴール3アシストと好パフォーマンスを見せている。
そんななか、注目を集めているのがオリーズの足元。ユニフォーム情報やギア情報を扱うメディア『Footy Headlines』は、22歳ウインガーがユニフォームとスパイクの色を合わせていると紹介した。
オリーズはスパイク契約を結んでいないため、好きなものを履くことが可能。2017年に15色展開で発売されたナイキのハイパーヴェノム3を好み、バイエルンのホームユニフォームには赤、アウェイユニフォームには黒、サードユニフォームには白を合わせている。
また、パレス時代にもユニフォームの色と合ったスパイクを選択。水色と白のキットに、こちらも水色と白の2色でカラーリングされたハイパーヴェノム3を着用した。
『ESPN』もオリーズのスパイクに注目し、画像をSNSに投稿。「ファッショニスタ」「ピッチ上で最もおしゃれなサッカー選手」「彼はファッションとボールをよく理解している」「いつも完璧にマッチしている」と好意的な反応が寄せられた。

フランクフルトは8日、メインスポンサーのIndeedと2026年6月まで契約延長したことを発表した。
フランクフルトは2017年夏からIndeedをメインスポンサーとし、今回の契約が3度目。約10年にわたってフランクフルトのメインスポンサーとなることが決定した格好だ。
Indeedがメインスポンサーとなって以降、フランクフルトは躍進を遂げ、2018年にはDFBポカール優勝、2019年にはヨーロッパリーグ(EL)でベスト4、そして昨季はEL優勝を果たしている。
日本でもCMでお馴染みのIndeedは世界最大級の求人サイトを運営している。

「SKECHERS(スケッチャーズ)」がバイエルンに加入したイングランド代表FWハリー・ケインとの契約を発表した。
アメリカの大手運動靴ブランドであるスケッチャーズ。機能性とデザイン性を兼ね備えた豊富なラインアップ展開が人気だ。
これまで、MLBのロサンゼルス・ドジャースに所属するクレイトン・カーショウ投手やプロゴルファーのマット・クーチャーなどとも契約してきたスケッチャーズだが、今回初めてサッカースパイクを制作。「SKX_01」というモデルを発表した。
「SKX_01」の発表と合わせて、ケインとの契約も発表。『FOOTY HEADLINES』によると、まだ発表されていないもののケイン以外の選手との契約も予定されているようだ。
なお、ケインは18日に行われるブンデスリーガ開幕節のブレーメン戦で、早速発表されたばかりのモデルを着用するようだ。
