リーグ・アン屈指の若手FWエキティケが今夏ステップアップ確実に!

スタッド・ランスのU-21フランス代表FWウーゴ・エキティケ(19)が今夏にステップアップを遂げる可能性が高まっている。同クラブのジャン=ピエール・カイヨ会長がフランス『Europe 1』で、若き主砲の今夏退団の可能性を認めた。カメルーンにルーツを持つフランス生まれのエキティケは190cmの大型ストライカー。昨シーズンにトップチームデビューを飾ると、今シーズンここまではケガやサスペンションによる離脱がありながらも、リーグ・アン21試合の出場で9ゴール3アシストを記録している。 190cmのサイズを感じさせないスピード、スプリント能力を武器に、センターフォワードだけでなく左右のウイングでもプレー可能で、柔らかな足元を生かしたポストワーク、決定力が売りの同国期待の若手だ。その若き主砲に関してスタッド・ランスのカイヨ会長は、今夏のタイミングでの売却の可能性を認めている。「ユーゴの場合、これ以上ウチにいては時間を無駄にすることになる」「この冬、3500万ユーロのオファーを拒否した」「このお金(今夏の売却益)は、今後クラブの成長と向上のために使われる。ウーゴの退団は許可されるだろうし、彼はおそらく出て行くことになる」「彼に問い合わせをしないビッグクラブはなかったからね」なお、現時点では今冬に正式オファーを掲示されたとされるニューカッスルに加え、ウェストハム、ウォルバーハンプトン、ドルトムントといったクラブが関心を寄せている。 2022.04.27 00:28 Wed
