ユベントスのイタリア代表FWフェデリコ・キエーザと交際しているルシア・ブラマーニさんが美しすぎると話題だ。
2020年夏にフィオレンティーナからユベントスに加入したキエーザ。チームの中心として活躍してきたものの、2022年1月に左ヒザ前十字じん帯損傷の重傷を負い、2022年11月に長期離脱から復帰。公式戦33試合の出場で4ゴール6アシストを記録したものの、セリエAでの先発出場は6試合に留まった。
そのキエーザを支えていたのがルシアさん。イタリア人モデルの彼女はキエーザが長期離脱していた2022年3月頃から交際を開始。当時のルシアさんはまだ大学生だった。
その美貌で一気に話題になると、インスタグラムのフォロワー数も急増。イタリアメディアからインタビューを受けることもあり、そのインタビュー内ではキエーザからサッカーについて教えてもらったと語っていた。
そのルシアさんに注目したのがイギリス『サン』だ。キエーザとユベントスの関係悪化が指摘される中、プレミアリーグクラブへの移籍も噂されたため、ルシアさんもイングランドにやってくるかもしれないと期待している。
『サン』によると、ルシアさんのファンは急速に増えており、イングランドのサポーターたちも彼女の見事なルックスに注目し始めているという。インスタグラムのコメント欄にも「今まで見た中で最も美しい女性だ」、「信じられないほどの美しさ」、「本当にゴージャス」といった反応が寄せられているようだ。
ルシアさんは、自身のインスタグラムでキエーザとの2ショットともに「私はいつでもあなたの側にいることを約束します」と綴っていたが、キエーザがユベントスを離れることはあるのだろうか。

現代サッカーにおいて、最も重要なポジションとも言われ、その重要性が高まっているのがサイドバックだ。
言わずもがな、4バック、または5バック時に最終ラインの両サイドに位置するポジション。3バックのシステムを採用するチームも増え、ウイングバックというポジションが増えたこともあるが、多くの役割を担うことが多いポジションだ。
かつてのサイドバックは、フルバックとも呼ばれ、守備を専門としてきた。そのため、高い技術や戦術眼よりも、上下動を繰り返せる持久力と、相手のウインガーに抜かれないための対人守備力が何よりも求められるポジションだった。
上手さよりも体力が求められたポジションだが、現代サッカーではそのイメージは全くと言っていいほどなくなった。むしろ、少し前のボランチが担っていたゲームコントロールをすることすら、サイドバックの選手が行うこともあるほど。戦術眼の高さが最も止められるポジションと言っても良いだろう。
時代の変遷とともに役割が変化してきたサイドバックだが、早い時期からチームに欠かせない役割を担っていた選手がいる。元イタリア代表のジャンルカ・ザンブロッタだ。

イタリアのコモで生まれたザンブロッタは、地元のクラブであるコモで1994年にプロデビュー。1997年にはセリエAのバーリへと移籍する。右利きのザンブロッタだが、プロ当初のポジションは左のウイング。攻撃的なポジションではあるが、左サイドでプレーしていた。
1999年にユベントスへと移籍するが、加入当時は中盤のサイドでプレー。左右のサイドハーフでプレーを続けていた。転機は2002-03シーズン。日韓ワールドカップにも出場したザンブロッタは、W杯のケガで出遅れると、マルチェロ・リッピ監督によって左サイドバックにコンバートされた。
元々攻撃的なポジションをやっていたザンブロッタは、クロス精度には定評があり、中盤でも左サイドを担っていたこともありプレー面に大きな影響はなかった。さらに、当初は心配されていた守備面も徐々に慣れることで向上。攻守にわたってプレーできるサイドバックとして大きく成長していくこととなった。
さらに、2005-06シーズンには現在もユベントスでプレーするDFジョルジョ・キエッリーニが加入。その影響もあり、ファビオ・カペッロ監督の下では右サイドにコンバート。その後に移籍したミランでも当初は右サイドでプレーするが、再び左サイドバックにポジションを移すなど、キャリアを通して両サイドバックを担っていくこととなった。

そのザンブロッタは、左右の足が使える事はもちろんのこと、サイドバックとして必要な豊富な運動量を備え、対人守備も大きく成長した。何よりも、基本的なパフォーマンスが安定したことが最も重宝された理由だろう。
ユーティリティプレーヤーの中には、飛び抜けた才能がなく、器用が故に様々なポジションを務める選手もいる。主力にになりにくく、便利な控え選手という立ち位置で終わる選手も少なくない。
しかし、ザンブロッタはユーティリティという言葉以上に、万能という言葉が合う選手だろう。サイドバックだけでなく、1列前でもプレーが可能。どのポジションにおいても、遜色ないプレーを行える点は、チームにいてくれると助かる存在でありながら、チームの結果に寄与できる選手でもあった。

カップルでユベントスへと移籍した2人だが、破局を迎えたという。イタリア『ガゼッタ・デッロ・スポルト』が伝えた。
破局したと報じられているのは、ユベントスのブラジル代表MFドウグラス・ルイスとスイス女子代表FWアリーシャ・レーマンのカップル。2人は2024年夏に揃ってアストン・ビラからユベントスへと完全移籍し、イタリアでのプレーに挑戦した。
ドウグラス・ルイスは総額5150万ユーロ(約83億6000万円)の移籍金でユベントスに加入したものの、負傷などもありイタリアサッカーへの適応に時間を要することに。セリエAでは16試合に出場しているものの、チアゴ・モッタ監督が退任し、イゴール・トゥドール監督が就任してからはさらに居場所がなくなってしまった。
クラブの信頼も薄れている中で、ドウグラス・ルイスは自身のインスタグラムを更新。自身が置かれている状況に不満を示しつつも、クラブに忠誠を誓うとした。
「写真を撮るためだけに来たのではない。誰もそうしなかった。何かを変えたい。目的を持って来た。契約する際は自分の心の声に従った」
「さて、答えてほしい。なぜ僕のような新人がこのシャツを着て2試合連続でプレーしなかったのか?」
「後でマスコミに何を言ってもいい。『ドウグラスは調子が悪い』と。僕が調子が悪いって?プレシーズン中は全部プレーしたし、全試合に出場していた」
「キャリア最高のシーズンを終え、プレミアリーグでも屈指の守備的ミッドフィルダーとして活躍していた。確かに、ケガでプレーが制限されたのは事実だ」
「でも、調子が良かった時にどれくらいベンチに座っていたかって?かなり長いよ。今回のケガは普通じゃなかった。ケガをしやすい体質ではなかったけど、原因は色々考えられる。それについてはコメントしたくない。時には辛いこともあるけど、このクラブのために全力を尽くし続ける。簡単じゃないけど、頼ってほしい」
ただ、問題となっている報道が出たのは、移籍の話があるからではない。ユベントス・フェンミニーレはセリエAフェミニーレを戦っており、チームは見事に優勝。しかし、その試合をドウグラス・ルイスは観戦しておらず、同じチームの彼女の優勝を祝うこともなかったようだ。
ユベントスから1年で退団すると見られているドウグラス・ルイスだが、世界で最も美しいサッカー選手と称されるレーマンは現在の環境に満足しており、プレーを続けていく予定。その前に、2人の関係が終わってしまったのかもしれない。
