バルセロナのレジェンドたちが再びピッチに立った。クラブ公式サイトが伝えている。
世界有数のビッグクラブであるバルセロナ。世界各地にサッカースクールがあり、中央アジアのキルギスにもサッカースクールを開校。29日に1つ目のスクールが開設され、近いうちに首都ビシュケクにもサッカースクールができる予定だ。
ジョアン・ラポルタ会長らもキルギスを訪れている中、今回の企画の一環でバルサレジェンズが試合を実施。かつてクラブで活躍してレジェンドたちもキルギスへと集まり、アジアレジェンズと対戦した。
アルベルト・フェレール監督率いるバルサレジェンズは、リバウド氏、フアン・パブロ・ソリン氏、ハビエル・サビオラ氏がそろってゴール。3-0の勝利を収めている。なお、メンバーには呼ばれていたもののキルギスへと行けなかったロナウジーニョ氏は欠席していた。
バルサレジェンズの活動はまだ続き、次は9月5日と7日にイスラエルでマッカビ・テルアビブとマッカビ・ハイファと対戦する予定だ。

29日、プレミアリーグ第10節のチェルシーとトッテナムによるロンドン・ダービーが日スタンフォード・ブリッジで行われる。
前節終了時点で1位のトッテナム(勝ち点20)と3位のチェルシー(勝ち点18)による首位攻防戦となるが、両者のプレミアリーグでの戦績を見てみると、チェルシーが通算30勝19分け7敗と大きく勝ち越している。

また、今節の舞台であるスタンフォード・ブリッジでは、全コンペティション合わせて34試合行われているが、トッテナムはこれまで一度しか勝利したことがない、苦手とする場所だ。
今回は、チェルシーが得意としているスタンフォード・ブリッジでのトッテナム戦で生まれたスーパーゴールを紹介。ユーザーアンケートでの結果をもとに、ナンバーワンのゴールを選出した。
1.トッテナムの夢を打ち砕くアザールの個人技/77.4%
最多得票数を得たのは、2016年5月2日に行われたプレミアリーグ第36節でベルギー代表FWエデン・アザールが決めたゴール。77.4%と圧倒的な支持を得た。
この試合では、首位レスター・シティを追いかけていた2位トッテナムが前半を2-0とリードで折り返す。そんな中、後半開始から投入されたアザールが流れを変えると、58分にDFギャリー・ケイヒルがCKから同点ゴール。そして迎えた83分、切れのある動きを見せたアザールがFWジエゴ・コスタとの連携で抜け出し、最後は右足でセーブ不能な右上隅に叩き込んだ。
この結果、レスターの優勝が決定。チェルシーがトッテナムの優勝を阻んだ大きな一撃となった。
2.名手ゾラの魔法のような直接FK弾/9.6%
次点に選ばれたのは、元イタリア代表MFジャンフランコ・ゾラ氏が2003年2月1日のプレミアリーグ第26節で決めた直接FKだ。
チェルシーの歴史の中でも有数のフリーキックの名手だったゾラ氏だが、ボックス左手前の位置から右足を優しく振り抜くと、最初は枠外のコースからカーブし、最後はゴール右上隅に吸い込まれていった。
3.ギャラスが後半ATに決めた火を噴くような強烈ゴール/7.9%
そして、3つ目のスーパーゴールは2006年3月11日のプレミアリーグ第29節で元フランス代表DFウィリアム・ギャラスが決めた劇的ゴールだ。
1-1と同点のまま迎えた93分、相手ボックス前左サイドでボールを持ったギャラスは、鋭いターンで相手DFをはがし、ドリブルで中央へボールを運ぶと、ボックスの外から思い切りシュートを放つ。右足から放たれた豪快なシュートは、圧倒的なパワーとスピードでゴール右に突き刺さり、劇的な勝ち越しゴールとなった。
さらに、『ダグアウト』が公開したゴール動画では、元ブラジル代表DFジュリアーノ・ベレッチ氏の豪快ミドルシュートや、トッテナム相手にゴールを量産した元オランダ代表FWジミー・フロイド・ハッセルバインク氏のスーパーゴールが公開されており、ブルーズサポーター必見の動画となっている。

かつてバルセロナで活躍した元ブラジル代表DFジュリアーノ・ベレッチ氏が、リオネル・メッシの印象を語った。スペイン『マルカ』が伝えている。
ベレッチ氏は2004年7月にビジャレアルから完全移籍で加入。2007年8月にチェルシーへ移籍するまでの3シーズンをバルセロナで過ごした。

2005-06シーズンにはクラブ史上2度目となるCL優勝にも貢献していたが、当時まだ16歳だったメッシがすでに異彩を放っていたとコメント。『ESPN』のインタビューで初めての出会いを語った。
「メッシがBチームから出てきて、(当時の監督)フランク・ライカールトが小さなピッチでの11対11に彼を入れた。彼は控え組にいて、私は主力組に入った」
「イニエスタが私を呼び寄せ、メッシを知っているか尋ねてきた。私が知らないと言うと、『まぁ、気を付けて』と忠告してきた」
「彼が最初にボールを持った時、『この子供は生意気だ』と思ったよ。彼はまだ16歳だった」

ベレッチ氏をも凌駕したメッシは18歳ごろからトップチームで頭角を現し、徐々に元フランス代表FWリュドヴィク・ジュリー氏からポジションを奪っていった。
