ウニオン・ベルリンの日本代表MF原口元気が誕生日を迎えた。夫人のるりこさんが様子を紹介している。
2019-20シーズンに初のブンデスリーガを戦い、11位と健闘したウニオン・ベルリンは、翌シーズンに7位と順位を上げ、今季も現在6位につけている。ヨーロッパ・カンファレンスリーグ(ECL)を並行した中での躍進に、一役買っているのが原口だ。
今シーズン、ハノーファーからウニオン・ベルリンへと加入し、3季ぶりにブンデス1部へと帰ってきた原口。第24節のマインツ戦ではヘルタ・ベルリン時代以来となる5年ぶりのゴールを決めるなど、リーグ戦29試合に出場し、2ゴール5アシストを記録している。
9日に31歳となった原口は、誕生日を盛大に祝われた様子。チームメイトの遠藤渓太や同じベルリンに拠点をおくベルリーナーAK(ドイツ4部)の矢島倫太郎らがパーティーに参加した。るりこさんが12日にインスタグラムでその様子を公開している。
「次の日、柔らかい朝日が照らす片付いたばかりのテーブルで『良い誕生日会だったね』と、静かにコーヒーを飲みながら、ただそう言ったものだから、なんだかとても嬉しかった」
8人分の料理や屋外でのグリルを囲み、笑みを浮かべる原口。ファンからも多数の祝福の声が届けられている。
