パリ・サンジェルマン(PSG)でプレーし、次世代のサッカー界を担う存在の一番として挙げられるムバッペ。2018年のロシアW杯ですでにW杯王者に輝いており、その後の活躍は言うまでもない。
2度目のW杯で連覇を目指した中、チームは決勝まで進出。ムバッペも5ゴールを記録して牽引した中、決勝でアルゼンチン代表の前に苦戦。それでも、PK2本を含むハットトリックの活躍を見せ、チームを牽引。PK線にまでもつれ込ませたが、最後は敗れて60年ぶりの連覇を逃していた。
そのムバッペだが、W杯中に新たな恋人がいるとフランスメディアが報道した。
ムバッペは、これまでモデルのイネス・ラウさん(32)と交際していると言う報道があった。ラウさんは、トランスジェンダーを公表しており、男性として生を受けたが、16歳で性転換手術を受けて、24歳でトランスジェンダーを公表していたことで知られる。
交際自体を公表されていたわけではないが、ヨットの上で仲睦まじい姿が見られるなどして憶測が流れていたが、一転してベルギー人モデルのローズ・バートラムさん(28)が浮上した。
バートラムさんは、かつてPSGに所属した元オランダ代表DFグレゴリー・ファン・デル・ヴィールと交際。2022年に破局していた。
バートラムさんはW杯の決勝の前にカタールで行われた「Qatar Fashion United」に出演。ランウェイを歩いていた。交際は公表されていないが、カタールW杯の決勝を観戦していたと言う報道もあ流。
W杯での失意をPSGで晴らそうと考えるムバッペにとって、ピッチ外の噂は関心が薄いのかもしれない。
