FC大阪は20日、筑波大学のDF林田魁斗(22)の来季加入内定を発表した。
林田はセレッソ大阪の下部組織出身で、2019年にはトップチームに2種登録されることに。トップチームには昇格せず、筑波大学へと進学した。
U-18日本代表歴もある林田は、C大阪U-23として明治安田生命J3リーグで24試合に出場経験があり、筑波大では天皇杯に1試合出場していた。
林田はクラブを通じてコメントしている。
「この度2024シーズンよりFC大阪に加入することが決まりました、筑波大学蹴球部の林田魁斗です。FC大阪という歴史あるクラブで、夢であったプロサッカー選手のキャリアをスタートできることを大変嬉しく思います」

日本サッカー協会は27日、9月のスペイン遠征に臨むU-18日本代表メンバーを発表した。
影山雅永監督は、22名を招集。海外組としてベンフィカに所属するGK小久保玲央ブライアンを招集した。また、トップチーム登録選手では、MF中山陸(ヴァンフォーレ甲府)、MF柴田壮介(湘南ベルマーレ)、MF松岡大起(サガン鳥栖)を招集している。
U-18日本代表は、2日に日本を出発。9月5日にU-18スコットランド代表、6日にU-18スペイン代表、8日にカジョサ・デポルティバ、9日にU-18スコットランド代表と対戦する。今回発表されたU-18日本代表メンバーは以下の通り。
