リバプールのブラジル代表FWロベルト・フィルミノが相手の意表を突いた技ありゴールを決めた。
9日に行われたFAカップ3回戦で、リバプールはリーグ1(イングランド3部)に所属するシュルーズベリー・タウンとホームで対戦した。
若手中心のイレブンはまさかの先制点を奪われたが、ファビーニョのPKなどで前半のうちに逆転に成功。リードを奪い返して迎えた後半の頭には南野拓実、64分にはフィルミノを投入して攻勢を強めると、78分にはフィルミノが期待に応えた。
右サイドを崩したレッズはコナー・ブラッドリーの折り返しにイブラヒマ・コナテがシュート。当たりそこなったボールがこぼれると、ゴールに背中を向けた状態のフィルミノはワントラップからヒールキックで狙う。相手守備陣の意表を突いた一撃が、見事にネットを揺らした。
技ありのゴールにサポーターも大興奮だ。「予測不可能なボビー」、「オスカーもの」、「以前のフィルミノが戻ってきたぞ!」のようなコメントが多数寄せられ、「相手は3部だぞ、落ち着けよ」と発言しながらも、泣き笑いの絵文字で興奮を隠せないファンも現れた。
フィルミノは11月3日に行われたチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)グループB第4節アトレティコ・マドリー戦でハムストリングを負傷し、離脱が続いていた。12月16日のプレミアリーグ第17節のニューカッスルで復帰したが、以降も出場機会は限定的だった。
フィルミノの復帰後初ゴールを含め、自力の差を見せつけたリバプール。試合終了間際にも加点し、4-1で快勝を収めている。
