ナショナル・ウィメンズ・サッカーリーグ(NWSL)のNJ/NYゴッサムFCでプレーする元なでしこジャパンのMF川澄奈穂美が、大胆なイメチェンを図ったようだ。
サイドで惜しみなく上下動を繰り返し、クロスやカットインからのシュートでチームの攻撃をけん引する川澄。疾走する姿にはピンクのヘアゴムとポニーテールが踊っていた。
4日のノースカロライナ・カレッジ戦にもフル出場を果たした川澄は、センターバック2人に次ぐタッチ数を記録し、決定機を幾度も演出。だが、相手GKのファインセーブにも遭い、ゴールを奪えずにいると、終盤に目の前でMF長野風花にミドルを決められ、0-1で敗れた。
試合後には自身のインスタグラムで「応援ありがとうございました」とコメント。さらに翌日には「カッコつけてみました」と綴り、チームメイトとともに、腰に手を当ててポーズを決める姿を公開した。
ポーズ以上に注目を集めているのは髪の長さだ。「久々のショート、素敵です」、「うわー!!!やっぱめっちゃ似合う!」、「どかわいい」、「ショートカットお似合いです」と、かなり短くカットしたヘアスタイルが好評を博している。
チームメイトのFWペイジ・モナハンが「いつも通りでしょ?」といじれば、川澄は「恥ずかしがりやなので(そんなことないよ)」返答。なお、INAC神戸レオネッサのGK武仲麗依からの「短いのもめちゃくちゃ似合ってますね」との声には、「ありがと!美人だと何でも似合うみたい」と残している。

日本サッカー協会(JFA)は30日、なでしこジャパンのメンバー変更を発表した。
JFAの発表によると、GK平尾知佳(アルビレックス新潟レディース)とDF鮫島彩(INAC神戸レオネッサ)が共にケガの影響で不参加となった。
また、代わりにGK武仲麗依(INAC神戸レオネッサ)、DF栗島朱里(浦和レッズレディース)の2名が招集。栗島はなでしこジャパン初招集となった。
なでしこジャパンは、10月6日に静岡県のIAIスタジアム日本平でカナダ女子代表と対戦する。

▽日本サッカー協会(JFA)は19日、なでしこジャパンからINAC神戸レオネッサのGK武仲麗依がケガにより離脱することを発表した。
▽なでしこジャパンは、22日(日)に長野Uスタジアムで「MS&ADカップ2017」のスイス女子代表戦を行う。キックオフは16時30分。
▽また、武仲に代わり、浦和レディースに所属するGK松本真未子を追加招集することも併せて発表。松本は、2014年のU-17女子ワールドカップの優勝メンバー。これがなでしこジャパン初招集となる。
