世界的に有名な元ポルノ女優のミア・ハリファさん。現在は引退しており、インフルエンサーとして活躍しているが、実は大のサッカーファンとしても知られている。
現在29歳のミアさんは、スポーツ好きであり、特にサッカーがお気に入り。レバノン出身で、8歳の時に不安定な国内情勢の影響でアメリカへ家族と共に亡命していた。
世界的にも人気を博したミアさんはウェストハムのファンであることを公言。プレミアリーグのドリームチームを自身で組むなど、サッカーへの愛が非常に強いことでも知られている。
そのミアさんはYouTubeチャンネルの『AFTV』に出演。自身のお気に入りの現役選手3名を選ぶという企画に参加した。
しかし、ミアさんは現役選手ではなく、かつてマンチェスター・ユナイテッドでプレーし、イングランド代表のレジェンドでもあるデイビッド・ベッカムをまず挙げることに。「私は女性なのでベックスと言わざるを得ないわ」とコメント。理由が実に斬新で「12歳の時の私よりも高い声で彼が話すのを聞く度に、いつも笑わせてもらうわ。とても楽しいの」と、ベッカムの高い声がどうやらお気に入りらしい。
そして2人目に挙げたのがこれまた現役選手ではなく、ユベントスやレアル・マドリーで活躍し、フランス代表のレジェンドでもあるジネディーヌ・ジダンをピックアップした。
ジダンを選んだ理由については「ジネディーヌ・ジダンはサッカーを見てきた中で、最もエキサイティングだった」と、こちらは真面目にサッカー面でお気に入りの選手とのこと。ただ「私は暴力的なものが好きだけど、サッカーはバタバタしていて嫌になるわ。でもヘッドバッドは史上最高の瞬間だったわね」と、2006年のドイツW杯決勝でジダンがイタリア代表DFマルコ・マテラッツィに見舞った頭突きがお気に入りだという。
そして3人目に挙げたのが現役選手。唯一選ばれた現役選手はセルティックに所属し、カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)にも出場したオーストラリア代表MFアーロン・モーイだ。
日本代表FW前田大然、MF旗手怜央、FW古橋亨梧、MF井手口陽介とチームメイトとして今シーズンプレー。かつてはウェスタン・シドニー・ワンダラーズでMF小野伸二(北海道コンサドーレ札幌)共プレーしたことがある。
モーイを選んだ理由については、「フットボール界のカワイ・レナードのようなものね」と語り、NBAのロサンゼルス・クリッパーズに所属するバスケットボールプレーヤーに例え、「モーイはレナードのように行動する。カメラは苦手だし、ちょっとおっちょこちょいだけど、それを感じさせないわ」と語り、「わからないけど、彼を思い出すの。カワイ・レナードは良い男よ」と、またしても独特な理由で選出していた。

元フランス代表MFジネディーヌ・ジダンが、ワールドカップ(W杯)決勝で話題となった場面を振り返った。
23日に50歳の誕生日を迎えるジダンは、ワールドカップ(W杯)にもレ・ブルーの一員として1998年フランス大会、2002年日韓大会、2006年ドイツ大会に出場。98年は決勝でブラジル代表から2ゴールを挙げ、母国を初優勝へと導いた。
06年大会でもファイナルのピッチへ立ったキャプテン。フランス『テレフット』にて、当時大きな話題を振り撒いたイタリア代表DFマルコ・マテラッツィへの頭突きに関して「まったく誇ることはできないが、それもまた私自身の過去の一部だ」と、振り返った。
ネガティブな印象を強く植え付けたシーンがある一方、先制点となったPKは大きな称賛を浴びていた。
キャプテンは開始早々の7分に獲得したPKを託された。百戦錬磨のジダンであってもイタリア代表の名GKジャンルイジ・ブッフォンを前に、しばし考える時間を要したという。
「こちらをよく知るGKを前にしているのだから、どうすれば決めることができるか、数秒思考した。その中で(自分が)培ってきた技術力は確かだと思った。狂っていたわけじゃない。PKには失敗も付き物だ。ただ、あの場面は絶対に決めなければならなかった」
そして、ジダンはW杯決勝という大舞台でパネンカを成功させた。
残念ながらその後追い付かれたフランスは、PK戦の末に敗れた。優勝、パネンカ、退場と、ジダンにとってのW杯決勝はあまりにも密度の濃い時間となっている。

マルコ・マテラッツィ氏が古巣インテルの新オーナーグループ「オークツリー」に期待を寄せた。
今季スクデットのインテルは22日、オーナーグループの中国「蘇寧ホールディングス」が、21日期限となっていた3億9500万ユーロ(約670億円)の債務不履行(デフォルト)により、アメリカ「オークツリー」への経営権移行が決定した。
「オークツリー」は22日に「インテルの長期的繁栄を実現すべく、クラブの伝統、選手の情熱、インテリスタの忠誠心などを大事にしていきます」などと声明。「持続可能な成長と成功、ガバナンスを」とも強調した。
これらについて、インテル史、いやサッカー史に残る伝説的フットボーラー、マテラッツィ氏がイタリア『ガゼッタ・デッロ・スポルト』を通じてコメント。「ミランと同じ道を辿るなよ」と、「レッドバード」と同じアメリカ企業の「オークツリー」にクギを刺した。
「まず何より、パオロ・マルディーニやリッキー・マッサーラを追い出したクラブと同じ過ちを犯さないことを確認したい。有能な人材をいまいち釈然としない理由で追い出したミランと同じようなことをするか? 俺は『そうは思わない』と言っておくよ」

ロシアW杯でもインテル&バイエルンのジンクス継続! 1982年以降W杯決勝に選手を送り込む
▽ロシア・ワールドカップ(W杯)の準決勝が終了し、フランス代表とクロアチア代表の決勝進出が決定した。これにより、1982年大会から続いていたインテル&バイエルンのジンクス継続されることになった。フランス『Le Parisien』が伝えている。

インテルアカデミー・ジャパンは1日、昨シーズン限りで現役を引退した三橋眞奈(28)がコーチとして就任することを発表した。
三橋は大阪体育大学から2017年にマイナビベガルタ仙台レディース(現:マイナビ仙台レディース)に加入。なでしこジャパンとしての出場歴はないが、U-23日本女子代表やユニバーシアード代表として日の丸を背負った。
ベガルタで3シーズンプレーした後、2020年夏には海を渡ってサッスオーロへ加入し、昨季はインテルでプレー。主軸として女子セリエAで23試合に出場し、イタリアではリーグ戦通算65試合出場3得点という数字を残している。
三橋は指導者キャリアのスタートに際し、チームの公式サイトを通じて意気込みを語っている。

インテルアカデミー・ジャパンはインテルアカデミーにおける最初のプロジェクトとして2013年にサッカースクールを代々木に開校。現在は府中と八王子でスクール、U-11からU-15のカテゴリーでチーム活動を行っている。
今夏のインテルジャパンツアーの際には、府中グラウンドにインテルのOB、ファビオ・ガランテ氏やマルコ・マテラッツィ氏らを招いてのアカデミー生限定イベントも実施していた。
