ロングスローで37.55m、女子のギネス記録を熊谷紗希の同僚が達成「特別に努力したことはない」

なでしこジャパン、熊谷紗希ら女子W杯メンバー発表! 岩渕真奈は落選

なでしこジャパンのDF熊谷紗希(ローマ)が、アルゼンチン女子代表戦に向けて意気込みを語った。 オーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子ワールドカップ(W杯)でベスト8の成績を残したなでしこジャパン。W杯後初の試合は、日本での凱旋試合となる。 同様にW杯に出場していたアルゼンチンとの対戦となる中、キャプテンの熊谷が試合に向けてメディア取材に応対した。 アルゼンチン戦に向けては、10月に控えているパリ・オリンピックのアジア2次予選に向けたチャレンジしたいと語った。 「オリンピック予選に向けて自分たちがやれることをやるということが大きなテーマです。新しいことではないんですが、自分たちの幅を広げるために取り組んでいることがあって、そこに全力でまずぶつかりに行くということが、まずは明日やらなければいけないことだと思います」 「全てがオリンピック予選のために、アジアで勝つために明日良い試合ができればと思います」 東京オリンピックは開催国のために予選はなく、2016年のリオ・デ・ジャネイロ・オリンピックでは予選敗退で出場を逃している。 アジア予選は非常に厳しい戦いとなる中、キャプテンとして、そして経験者として選手たちに言葉をかけているという。 「もちろん合宿が始まる前に太さん(池田太監督)にも言われました。アジアの戦いが一番難しいものになると思っているので、まずは本当にそこで勝つためにやることをやるということ、そこで勝って初めてパリが見えてくるので、まずはアジア予選にフォーカスすることがチームとして全員が向いていることです」 「改めてそういうところ、チームとしても向き合うべきところに集中していきたいと思います」 その予選の前の最後の試合となるアルゼンチン戦。熊谷はチームとして確認したいところを語った。 「自分たちが幅を広げるためにやっているところの確認と、相手あってなので、アルゼンチン戦がどれだけ予選のシミュレーションになるかはわからないですけど、まずは自分たちが何ができるかだと思うので、自分たちがやりたいことできることをできるだけ多く出せるように、そうしたチャレンジで全力でぶつかりにいきたいですし、多くしていきたいです」 新たなシステムにもチャレンジしており、アンカー起用も見込まれる熊谷。ポジションについても言及した、 「間違いなくあそこに置かれて自分に求められているのは守備の安定性、1つ前で潰せるところ、セカンドのボール奪取だと思います」 「そこは本当に自分の良いところとして出していきたいのと、そんなに(ポジションが)1つ上がって大きくやることが変わるかというとそこまで変わらないと思うので、あのポジションで自分だからできること、求められていることに全力で取り組みたいと思います」 なでしこジャパンは23日(土)の12時から、北九州スタジアムでアルゼンチンと対戦する。 2023.09.22 22:07 Fri
