清水エスパルスは3日、野口幸司氏(52)のコーチ就任を発表した。
現役時代はベルマーレ平塚(現:湘南ベルマーレ)や川崎フロンターレ、名古屋グランパス、大宮アルディージャでプレーした野口氏。平塚時代にはエースとして活躍し、1試合5ゴールというJ1最多得点記録を作ったほどだ。

ブラジルのヴァスコ・ダ・ガマを率いるブラジル人指揮官ゼ・リカルド氏(51)が、同クラブの指揮官退任と、清水エスパルスの新監督就任することを自身のインスタグラムに投稿した。
6日に自身のインスタグラムを更新したゼ・リカルド氏は、ヴァスコ・ダ・ガマの指揮官を退任したことを報告。クラブへの感謝と共に、自身の今後について語った。
｢このたび、ヴァスコ・ダ・ガマの指揮官を退任することになり、大変心苦しく思っている。まず最初に、私の仕事に対して常に誠実さと信頼を示し、この期間を通して私を支えてくれたジョルジ・サルガド会長、私が常に最大の賞賛と愛情と敬意を抱いている選手たち、そして他のすべてのクラブ職員、特にマネージャーのモアシール・バルボーザに感謝したい。また、熱狂的なヴァスカファンの皆にも、試合中のすべての活動に対して感謝の気持ちを伝えたい｣
｢サッカーの世界ではよくあることですが、将来については不透明な部分が多いなか、日本のエリート(1部)である清水エスパルスから誘いを受け、今後2年間お世話になることになりました｣

フラメンゴのユースチームで指導者キャリアをスタートしたゼ・リカルド氏。その後、フラメンゴのトップチームやヴァスコ・ダ・ガマ、ボタフォゴ、フォルタレーザ、インテルナシオナウの監督を歴任。2021年にはカタールSCで指揮を執り、2021年12月に自身2度目となるヴァスコ・ダ・ガマの指揮官に就任していた。
なお、清水は現在2勝7分7敗の勝点13でJ1・J2入れ替え戦の16位と低迷。5月30日には、昨季終盤チームを率いていた平岡宏章監督(52)を電撃解任。1日に行われた天皇杯2回戦の周南大戦はヘッドコーチの篠田善之氏が暫定監督を務めていた。
