浦和レッズが新たにデンマーク人CBの補強を検討しているようだ。
2024シーズンは明治安田J1リーグで13位と低迷した浦和。ペア・マティアス・ヘグモ監督の下で結果がなかなか出ないと、マチェイ・スコルジャ監督を再招へい。しかし。チームは好転することなく、低迷したままシーズンを終えた。
浦和は夏の移籍市場で多くの主軸が退団し、チームバランスを崩すことに。特にDFアレクサンダー・ショルツ、DF酒井宏樹、MF伊藤敦樹、MF岩尾憲と軸となっていた選手の退団は、大きな戦力ダウンとなった。
新シーズンに向けては、ここまでMF松本泰志(サンフレッチェ広島)、MFマテウス・サヴィオ(柏レイソル)、MF長倉幹樹(アルビレックス新潟、MF金子拓郎(KVコルトレイク)と中盤の選手の補強ばかり。DF荻原拓也がディナモ・ザグレブから復帰したが、最終ラインはテコ入れされていなかった。
そんな中、トルコ『Milliyet』によると、スパルタ・プラハのデンマーク人DFを狙っているという。
1人は、ガラタサライからレンタル移籍中のDFマティアス・ロス(23)。オールボーの下部組織で育ち、ガラタサライからNECナイメヘンに武者修行にも出たことがあった。
今シーズンはスパルタ・プラハに武者修行に出ており、リーグ戦で9試合に出場。チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)でも1試合プレー。ボールを運べる現代型のCBであり、浦和が求めるCB像にも合致する。
もう1人がデンマーク代表歴もあるDFアスガー・ソーレンセン(28)とのこと。レッドブル・ザルツブルクやニュルンベルクなどオーストリアやドイツでもプレーし、世代別のデンマーク代表も経験。今シーズンはリーグ戦13試合で2ゴール、CLでも2試合に出場していた。
ヨーロッパでも実績のあるCB2人。ノルウェー人のDFマリウス・ホイブラーテンとのコンビに不安はなさそうだが、ここまでなされていない守備の補強をどうするのか注目が集まる。

浦和レッズは9日、元スウェーデン代表MFダヴィド・モーベルグがチームに合流したことを発表した。
左利きのウィンガーであるモーベルグは、3試合1得点のスウェーデン代表歴を持ち、母国クラブのIFKヨーテボリでプロ入り後、サンダーランド(イングランド)やキルマーノック(スコットランド)、ノアシェラン(デンマーク)などでプレーした。
2019年冬に加入したチェコのスパルタ・プラハでは、公式戦通算96試合の出場で26得点22アシストをマークすると、2021年12月に浦和への完全移籍が発表されていた。
浦和では背番号「10」をつけることとなるモーベルグは、4日についに来日。入国後の待機期間を経て、ついにチームに合流した。
浦和はSNSで「Welcome to Urawa Reds」としてモーベルグの合流を報告。浦和の練習着を着用し、トレーニングする姿の写真を投稿した。
ファンは「改めて浦和へようこそ」、「待ってました!!」、「ワクワクさせてください!」、「北欧トリオとてつもなく華がある」、「きたきたきた!!!」と大きな期待を寄せている。
デンマーク人のFWキャスパー・ユンカー、DFアレクサンダー・ショルツとの“北欧トリオ”というネーミングも既についており、スタートダッシュに失敗した浦和の巻き返しに力を貸してくれることが期待される。

元日本代表のキャプテンである長谷部誠が率いるE・フランクフルトと、彼の古巣である浦和レッズが激突した「さいたまシティカップ」が16日に埼玉スタジアムで行われ、浦和が4-2の勝利を収めた。
浦和サポーターお目当ての長谷部は左膝の負傷からか、出場したのは後半30分過ぎ。リベロではなく3-4-3の右ボランチに入ったものの、それまでに多くの選手が交代したため手探りでプレーしていた印象は否めない。
対する浦和も前半は若手主体だったが、後半からはGK西川周作、CBアレクサンダー・ショルツ、左SB明本考浩、ボランチに岩尾憲と伊藤敦樹、右MFダヴィド・モーベルグ、トップ下に小泉佳穂、FW松尾佑介とレギュラークラスを並べた。
結果は浦和が前半に2点をリードしたものの、後半は2-2のイーブンでトータル4-2。しかしGK西川の4度にわたる決定機阻止がなければ浦和は逆転負けを喫していただろう。
むしろ試合としては前半の若手主体のチームの方が面白かった。
ボランチの大卒ルーキー安居海渡(流経大)は、フランクフルトのプレスを少しも怖がらずにDFラインからパスを受けると、巧みなターンで前を向いて攻撃を組み立てていた。同じく大卒ルーキーの右SB宮本優太(流経大)は右サイドを何度もアップダウンして攻守に貢献し、試合終盤に足をつるまでピッチで存在感を示した。
彼ら以外にも両サイドのアタッカーとしてスピードとトリッキーなドリブルを披露したMF松崎快やCB知念哲也といった大卒3シーズン目の今季移籍組は、普段のリーグ戦ではなかなかプレーを見る機会がないだけに、「こんな選手もいたの?」と新鮮な驚きでもあった。
後半の“主力組“に比べ、前半の“若手組“はアピールしようという気持ちが強かったので、それがチームとして勢いの差となったのかもしれない。こうした戦力を来シーズンは新監督がどのようにまとめあげるのか。
そして改めて思ったのは、江坂任は当たり前だけど「巧い」ということだ。相手のアタックにさりげなく身体を入れたり手を使ったりしてブロックし、自分に有利な体勢から攻撃を仕掛けていく。ポジションを選ばずに攻撃に絡めるのも彼の最大の持ち味だろう。もうあと5歳若ければ、フランクフルトのグラスナー監督もきっと興味を示したはずだ。

2021年5月に浦和に完全移籍で加入。およそ3年間在籍し、公式戦135試合に出場し21得点3アシストを記録。AFCチャンピオンズリーグ、天皇杯、FUJIFILM Super Cupと3つのトロフィーを手にしていた。
