18日、AFC女子チャンピオンズリーグ(AWCL)2024-25の組み合わせ抽選会が行われた。
2023-24シーズンはプレ大会である『AFC Women’s Club Championship 2023 – Invitational Tournament(AWCC)』が行われ、三菱重工浦和レッズレディースが仁川現代製鉄レッドエンジェルズ(韓国)を下して優勝を果たしていた。
本大会は今回が第1回大会に。日本からはWEリーグの浦和が登場する。
グループリーグは3つに分かれて行われ、それぞれのグループがセントラル開催に。浦和はグループCに入り、ベトナムでの戦いを迎える。
同じグループには、ホーチミン・シティ(ベトナム)、台中藍鯨女子足球隊(チャイニーズ・タイペイ)、予選グループB勝者が入ることとなる。
グループステージは10月6日(日)から12日(土)にかけて開催。1回戦総当たりとなり、各グループ上位2チームと、3位のうちの上位2チームがノックアウトステージに進出。準々決勝は成績上位チームのホームで2025年3月22日(土)、23日(日)に開催。準決勝と決勝はセントラル方式で、2025年5月21日(水)〜24日(土)にかけて行われる。
