ユベントスのアメリカ代表MFウェストン・マッケニーが自身のゴールセレブレーションに込められた意味を明かした。『ユーロスポーツ』が伝えている。ユベントスは24日、セリエA第19節でボローニャとホームで対戦し、2-0で勝利した。この試合に先発出場したマッケニーは71分、MFフアン・クアドラードの右コーナーキックに対しニアに走り込んで頭で合わせ、貴重な追加点をマークしていた。
ゴールを決めたマッケニーは、カメラに向かって駆け寄ると、突き出した右手を八の字に動かし、杖を振るようにして見せた。
試合後『DAZN』のインタビューに応えたマッケニーは、「僕はハリーポッターの大ファンなんだ。僕の手にはタトゥーがあるから、あれは魔法の呪文さ」と人気ファンタジー小説「ハリーポッター」の真似であることを明かしている。
2020年夏にシャルケからレンタル移籍で加入したマッケニーだが、ここまでセリエA15試合に出場して3ゴール2アシストをマークするなど、期待に応えている。

ユベントス、モンテネグロの新星アジッチを完全移籍で獲得!
